Love these cups!
We love these cups for our daughter. They are easy to clean and great quality. Our daughter hasn't had a problem learning how to use them or being able to drink out of them. They are super cute and durable. We use them for water and milk. They don't really spill, but sometimes the liquid stays in the top part of the straw and if they are thrown off the high chair, that liquid will splat. We've purchased a few packs and would recommend.

Great cup to transition baby to a straw cup!
The First Years sippy cup has been amazing for helping my baby learn how to drink from a straw. The straw is easy for him to use, and he picked it up pretty quickly. I also love that it’s spill proof, so I don’t have to worry about leaks or messes when he throws it around or carries it everywhere. It’s easy to clean, durable, and perfect for transitioning from bottles to straw cups. Definitely recommend for babies learning to drink independently and you can encourage the sucking motion by pressing on the cup it’s very helpful. It’s easy to clean and small enough to hold. I’ve had these cups for 2 months now and they’re still intact and new.

Great Training Cup for Kids
Aquí tienes una reseña en inglés lista para copiar y pegar 👇✨ ⸻ This cup is amazing for kids! I love that they can control how much water comes out depending on how hard they sip, which makes it perfect for little ones learning to drink on their own. It’s also super easy to clean, which is a huge plus for busy parents. The design is simple, practical, and very kid-friendly. Highly recommend!

Toddler friendly
I’m really happy with these squeeze & sip toddler straw cups! My son absolutely loves them and uses them every day. They’re easy for him to hold and drink from, which makes a big difference since he’s still learning. I like how the straw design helps prevent spills, especially when we’re on the go. The squeeze feature also makes it easier for him to get the drink without getting frustrated. Cleaning is pretty simple too, which is always a plus for me as a busy mom. Overall, these cups have been a great addition for us practical, toddler-friendly, and definitely a favorite in our house.

Favorite straw cup , minor annoyances
My daughter loves these cups. Started introducing straw cups between 4-6 months when we started solids and we had a hard time with a few different choices. This one has been the easiest to clean and the most successful with getting our daughter to drink from a straw. We stopped using bottles and formula at 12 months cold turkey and she was completely fine with the transition. We just ordered three more 3 packs, and we've purchased two 3 packs in the past. We offer one with water and one with whole cows milk with every meal and so having at least 6 for a day is essential for us. It can be alittle tough to squeeze depending on the hand strength of the person helping the child learn how to use the cup but once she got the hang of it, we havent had to squeeze it for her. She cant squeeze it herself and make a mess that way, yet. If there is liquid in the clear rubber straw, the top piece, she will flick it on purpose and it splatters. If she drops it to set it down it will also splatter and there usually is always alittle leftover milk or water in the top straw. Design wise I dont know if its avoidable and I dont think its that big of an issue, its just alittle inconvenient to clean up milk splatters. Its truly not that bad though. I dont know if I would call this spill proof. Again if there is liquid in that top straw even if she sets it down nicely but its tipped on the side it will leak out. Also I think if there is any suction happening even if its not being drank from sometimes it will slowly start to come out the top. Ive had them sitting on the counter or floor for too long after a meal and milk will have started to slowly pour out and make a mess, if youre a lazy girlie like me, this will annoy you. I try to empty the cups after use but sometimes its a whirlwind with this baby and I just dont get to it. TLDR: its my favorite cup and my baby's favorite cup with minor annoyances we have like 15 of them now to get us through 2-3 days. The colors are fun as well, I think we've bought every color variation at this point.

squeezable design
I’m really happy with these straw cups for my 9-month-old daughter! She was able to learn how to use the straw with very little effort. The squeezable design makes it easy to gently help them drink and understand how the straw works. The silicone straw is soft and gentle on her gums, and the cup size is perfect for little hands. They’re also easy to clean and great for transitioning away from bottles. Definitely a great choice for babies learning to drink independently!

Perfect for Little Hands & Easy Transition Cups
These cups have been so great for helping our baby learn to drink independently! The soft silicone is gentle on gums, and the squeeze feature makes it easy for little ones to understand how to sip. They’re lightweight, easy to hold, and super easy to clean. We also love that they don’t leak everywhere when tossed in the diaper bag. Such a good transition cup!

Excellent Transition Cup with Smart Design - Minor Spill Trade-off for Great Learning Tool
As a parent navigating the transition from bottle to straw drinking, I found The First Years Straw Cups to be an outstanding training tool that made the learning process surprisingly smooth. What Makes These Cups Effective: Innovative Squeeze Feature: The genius of this cup is the ability to gently squeeze it to push liquid up through the straw, teaching your baby the mechanics of straw drinking. Within days of consistent use, my child understood the concept and began drinking independently without any prompting. This hands-on teaching method is far more effective than just hoping they figure it out. Safety-Conscious Design: The soft, flexible straw tip is gentle on tender gums and emerging teeth. I appreciate that there’s no hard plastic poking around in my baby’s mouth during this oral development stage. Easy Maintenance: Dishwasher safe components make cleanup effortless—a must-have feature for busy parents dealing with multiple cups throughout the day. Value: At this price point, you’re getting excellent quality without the premium cost of some competitor brands. I felt comfortable buying multiple cups to keep in different locations. One Design Consideration: Due to the straw configuration, liquid remains in the upper portion of the straw after drinking rather than draining back down. This means minor spills can occur when the cup is tipped or opened, especially in diaper bags. However, this is a small trade-off for the effective learning mechanism. I simply ensure the cup is upright when transporting or keep it in a sealed pocket. Bottom Line: These cups successfully bridged the gap between bottle and independent straw drinking for my child. The squeeze-to-teach feature is invaluable, and the minor spill issue is manageable with basic precautions. Highly recommend for the 6-12 month transition period.
