The only problem I had was registering the product.
This review is for the Waterdrop WD-PT-07B. The pitcher is an attractive baby blue. The photo to my eyes looked a bit more aqua blue. It is semi-transparent but not enough to really see through the top. The materials feel good. The size of the pitcher is much bigger than my OXO alkaline water pitcher, which was too small for my taste but it's fine. This jug holds enough water to last me about 2 days before refilling, OR I just refill it each time I take it out. It also comes with a little timer button to let you know when it's time to change filters - I assume it will base it on time like 3 months from now? There is a nifty little spring port at the top so you won't have to remove and replace the lid of this pitcher each time you fill it up. You can set the jug in the sink and turn the water on. The spring hinged top port is big enough not to cause issue: roughtly 2" by 1.5". The spring is loose enough that the pressure from your spicket should keep the aperture depressed while it fills, you still have to turn your water off if you don't want it to overflow. (Someone probably wouldn't figure that out if I do not tell them.) I truly enjoy this novel idea BUT if the spring fails it might be more of a problem than a solution - good idea nevertheless. I was sold on this pitcher because of the 7 sediment filtration system and the partial filtering of fluoride, something Brita filters do not claim to do that this one CLAIMS to do. I haven't done any scientific research to see if it does it's job at all because unless you take your water to a specialist, none of the test on Amazon seem to be legit testers. The technology of this filter is generally what is found in higher priced systems, be it at a much smaller degree. I done a blind taste test with my mom and she knew right away which was filtered and which wasn't. I used the same style glass, same water level, same temperature. She didn't have to do a repeat, she pointed right away the correct choice. She said easy decision. Her taste buds are better than mine but I agreed with her that I thought I could tell a difference too. The city water had a chemical aftertaste to me, this one I couldn't get much aftertaste at all. So, as far as flavor it is filtering out something because the taste is better than bottled water IMO. The only negatives I see with this filter are: The filter a lot of times does get very slow filtering - almost coming to a complete hault. I try to leave the pitcher out until it is finished. It seems to have a tougher time filtering cold water than room temp water. This could be a good thing as it is slowing the water down to a standstill, therefore in my imagination I am assuming it must be cleaning it. It is good it has 2 drains, as often one gets jammed but the other continues flowing water through. I haven't had a filter take more than 5 minutes but it may slow down with age? The great idea of the spring could be a cause of concern if it stopped springing back up. I genuinely applaud the effort and I hope it holds up. If it holds up this is one of the best ideas ever. Very useful concept and so far works flawlessly. I would advise not to play with it too much and don't let your kids break it. The registration was a pain. Their website does not list this model. So expect to have to speak with the customer service and correspond through your email address. The rep said this has been a problem they are trying to fix. Mia was very kind even though I was getting impatient. I spent 4 days trying to register this. In the end, I tried to put in Pitcher Filtration System and then all straightforward information since the model number is not listed. The website would not accept Pitcher Filtration System - it flagged it. So I had to send Mia a screenshot and she said she got my information in. This took 4 days and I'll spare you the back and forth. I hope you know what to do if you buy this filter. On a good note, the registration gives 2 year warranty and a free filter. So it was a nice addition that kind of backfired. But since Mia was so polite and kind, I cannot fault the pitcher for this and anyone looking for a good pitcher should realize this seems like an excellent bargain for an excellent product. I don't want to confuse people with lower ratings simply based on a failed attempt to provide excellent customer service that intertwined with it a simple human error. Thank you Waterdrop! I like this filter and appreciate the free filter (if I get it). I wasn't expecting one so if I get it, a great gift!

At 76, I’ve become a filtered water drinking snob!
At 76, I’ve become a filtered water drinking snob! I’ve lived in crowded big city apartments for most of my younger years. I never drank much water back then and for too many years I have never paid much attention to water, its qualities, taste and my limited water drinking habit. I didn’t pay much attention to my physicians and other health providers when they suggested I drink lots of water to stay healthier. It’s only been recently that I’ve needed to take a closer look at why I drink very small amounts of water even in hot summer apartment days. To make a long story shorter, I just didn’t enjoy drinking water. Its taste was always too metallic and flat. I tried drinking and cooking with bottled water, but the cost quickly became too much of a luxury for a retiree on a fixed income. After lots of online research into the specifics of water quality in my area, it became apparent that I needed to find a cost-effective way to filter the water that came through the building pipes into my kitchen. Lots of ideas required expensive attachments to the old faucets and would require hiring someone to install additional fixtures. After lots of online research, I came across this Waterdrop Lucid filtered water pitcher on Amazon and decided to give it a try! Almost immediately after the first zip of the filtered water, I was hooked on how wonderfully delicious clear clean purified water tastes! The Waterdrop Lucid water filter pitcher is so easy to fill and use. The pitcher lid has a light indictor to let me know when I need to replace the filter and the filled pitcher fits in my small apartment small fridge. I’ve become a water quality snob in my old age and I am hooked on filtered water! Now I drink lots of filtered water a day, make ice cubes to cool my zips and use filtered water to cook with as well. I make extra and keep it stored in glass jars to use in cooking. I keep my favorite, now filtered, lemonade drink in my favorite small glass pitcher! This Waterdrop Lucid filtered water pitcher is one of the heathiest buying choices I’ve made this year.

So happy with my purchase, I bought another one!
After having the undersink filter, I de ided to double up and get the pitcher for an even cleaner taste and ease of use for refills etc. I am so happy I did. The water tastes even better and it was great to begin with from the undersink filter we have. The flow rate through filter is refreshingly quick. The tip fill slot makes refills easy since I don't have to remove the whole top. I also love the way I can pour from the filtered lower chamber without having the upper filter chamber spilling over. I bought one for home and just got another one for my office. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Great tasting water but check fridge height
I purchased this Waterdrop 10-cup water filter pitcher after reading reviews that indicated its filtration was a much healthier option compared to traditional Brita models. Overall, the performance has been excellent, though the physical dimensions require some consideration. EXCELLENT FILTRATION AND SPEED The water quality from this pitcher is outstanding. The filtered water tastes absolutely delicious and completely clean. The filtration speed is another major highlight; the water moves through the filter nice and quick, so you never have to wait very long for a fresh refill. The flip-top lid stays perfectly secure when pouring, and refilling is simple since you can fill it directly through the top flap without removing the entire lid assembly. I am currently taking a hiatus from drinking coffee, so I haven't tested it with hot brews yet, but for daily drinking water, the taste is top-tier. SIZE AND STORAGE NOTE While the 10-cup capacity provides a good amount of water, I would actually prefer an even larger cup size for our household needs. However, the current design is already too tall to fit comfortably onto the standard shelves inside my specific refrigerator. I recommend measuring your internal fridge shelf height before purchasing to ensure it will clear your layout smoothly. Pros -Delicious, clean-tasting water that noticeably improves tap quality. -Exceptionally fast filtration speed through the reservoir. -Secure lid design prevents leaks or spills while pouring. -Convenient top flap allows for easy refilling under the tap. Cons -The tall physical profile may not fit on standard shelves in compact refrigerators. Final Verdict This Waterdrop pitcher delivers phenomenal water purity and runs very quickly. It is a highly reliable option for eliminating plastic bottle waste, as long as you double-check your refrigerator clearance dimensions ahead of time. It is a very solid product and comes recommended.

Nice water pitcher
I got this today and I am a huge coffee drinker so I bought it for that reason to use in my Keurig. It does taste cleaner and looks better than the other more expensive brand pitcher I had which also got moldy under the lid so I threw that away. Even though this is a 10 cup picher, it looks smaller but maybe its not. I do fill up the water all the way to the top of the reservoir so I get a full pitcher of water, not half where it would stop right under the reservoir. Follow the instructions and make sure you wash it by hand, and dump the first 2 pitchers of water before you use it. I saw a video about this pitcher that the woman said its glass but I think its plastic.

Exactly what I needed – clean water, big capacity, and looks great too!
I’ve been using the Waterdrop WD-PT-07 for about 3 weeks now, and honestly, I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do. I bought it mainly because I wanted to cut down on plastic bottles and always found Berlin tap water a bit too harsh in taste. The first thing I noticed was how clean and light the water tastes after filtering—it’s a huge improvement. Even tea and coffee taste smoother now. 📏 Size-wise, I had to double-check the fridge space before buying (dimensions are in the image I attached). It barely fits in the fridge door, but it works! If your fridge is tight, you might want to consider the 2.5L version. 💧 Capacity is perfect for me and my flatmate—we fill it twice a day and don’t worry about running out of filtered water. No constant refilling like I had to do with my previous small jug. 🛠️ Build quality: It feels solid and well-designed. The handle makes pouring super easy, and nothing leaks or drips. It also came with a replacement filter, which was a nice touch. ♻️ I really liked reading that one filter lasts over 750 liters—which, in my case, means I won’t have to think about replacements for quite a while. The filter doesn’t remove TDS, which I initially misunderstood, but now I realize that’s a good thing—it keeps minerals like calcium and magnesium, which are beneficial. Final verdict: If you want something that’s practical, saves money, reduces plastic use, and improves water taste significantly, I’d definitely recommend this one. I’ve attached a product info image in case it helps others who are on the fence.
