Billington's Demerara Unrefined Cane Sugar, 1kg

Great natural sugar. I had No complaints with this sugar. I've stopped using sweeteners and went back to using brown sugar. That is a Great alternative to white sugar. While white sugar adds sweetness, brown sugar also adds flavour and the strength of that flavour ranges from a light muscovado to a dark rich demerara sugar. This is an unrefined raw cane sugar with large toffee-coloured crystals. It has a natural golden-brown color because it undergoes minimal processing. This color is a result of the presence of molasses, which is not fully removed during refining.

always use this brand in my fruit cakes, good results not too sweet, good price. plastic recycable packaging.

Have been using Billington's sugars for years and their demerara is by far the best for quality and flavour.

if you like sugar then this brown sugar is blooming lovely - espec in my bean to cup coffees - defo more expensive tan white sugar tho

Lovely dark brown Demerara Sugar like my Grandmother used to buy, it is a lovely consistency and sweet but not too sweet, lovely in coffee and on Cereal etc, can be used in Cooking as well so it is a good All-rounder, The Best Demerara Sugar I would buy again.

Billington's is far superior to Tate and Lyle and own-brands so I snapped up this when it was on offer!
