I've used a lot of different security cams. I have to say these are the best so far for the price. They function great, set up was simple, wifi connection is solid and a simple thing that impressed me the most is unlike other systems they actually include a power cord extension cable for each cam. In my opinion the quality of these cams is well worth the price. Although I would like to see a little more robust antenna for the cams. But overall this is a good quality system.

The Reolink NVR was a breeze to setup. The system is really robust, allowing for a huge array of user definable parameters. The system supports remote access from Windows, Android, and Apple platforms as well as configuration changes remotely. There are a large number of Reolink cameras for both indoors and outdoors available. With a wide range of power supplies like solar, electric, and battery. I recommend getting a NVR with the largest hard drive you can afford. The more cameras one adds the fewer days can be recorded before the system starts to overwrite older files. I replaced the 1 TB drive when I found with only 5 cameras added it would only record 4 1/2 days. This is a normal function of any kind of video recording. Video with audio takes more space than just video alone. By default audio is not recorded but is a option. The system also allows one to talk through a supported camera with the person you are seeing and hearing on the camera. And finally if you already have some cameras they "might" be able to be added to the system manually. I purchased the system to keep a eye on the home of my elderly parents.

I know where I put one of them is behind brick and aluminum door so I did think that would be a problem. But I also have wifi problems with other locations. I do love the video of these cameras

Updated my existing Zmodo WiFi system. This NVR does not require an additional router like the Zmodo. It’s runs its own network so it won’t bog down your home network. I used a Reolink Repeater to boost the 5ghz signal. Getting 3 bars at 400ft through walls. You have to update the firmware manually using a usb stick, auto update did not work. Update the cameras that way too.

Absolute Nightmare – Deceptive Marketing and Non-Existent Support ​Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ ​I purchased this Reolink system three days ago, and it has been nothing but a source of extreme frustration. If you are looking for a reliable camera system, stay away from this brand. ​The Product Issues ​Despite multiple attempts over the last 72 hours, these cameras simply will not connect to the internet. The setup process is a disaster. After watching several YouTube videos that made the process look seamless, I am convinced those reviews are deceptive. In reality, the hardware is unreliable and the software is a joke. ​The "Support" Experience ​The most devastating part of this experience has been Reolink’s customer service—or lack thereof. I began calling their support line at 9:00 AM today. ​9:00 AM: Automated message said they were "too busy" and hung up on me. ​11:00 AM: Same result. ​3:00 PM: Still too busy to take a call. ​4:00 PM: Again, the system automatically disconnected me. ​It is unacceptable for a company to sell security products and then completely ghost their customers when the equipment fails to work. They don't put you on hold; they simply hang up. ​Final Verdict ​Do not be fooled by the marketing or the online videos. This system is a waste of time and money. Great product. Wireless means network wires, it needs power so has power wires. Great to use great to put up. I just wish the description woulbe more helpful with 'comes with 4 cameras, and this is the model'.Can use up to 12 cameras but again you have to figure that you need to buy another 8 and which ones to buy. Itd be much simple to just bundle 8 cameras too. But overall very happy with it. I"m in the process of buying another 3 sets for more stores. that is if I can figure what cameras to get...

Good clear pictures and easy setup.

This system is complicated and customer service from Reolink is awful. I bought this to replace a very old Revo system in the house we purchased. Not only was it not an upgrade but it doesn't perform as well as the old one. Unless you are very tech savvy it is a headache to install and set up. The cameras freeze constantly and lose connection to the Internet frequently. I have Xfinity Internet and very high speed. I regret this purchase.

Great system! Easy to configure Easy to upgrade the HHD ( selected in the list recommended of Reolink). Remote via iphone work flawlessly. I feel more secured now Wonderful customer service and experience I communicate with them and we improve the firmware ans option. I recommend seriously this system and company

Like the clarity compared to the other cameras we had. Easy to use and get hooked up after we figured a couple things out. Would recommend this system.

Good wifi system. When doing automatic updates it says you have the latest but you actually don't. Upgrade the firmware manually using a usb stick from the Reolink website which has big improvements in feature and wifi strength.

For ~$600 you are getting a lot of hardware. The NVR eliminates any need for a computer or any cloud accounts with subscriptions. You just record 24/7 to the NVR and you can access the footage by phone app, or on PC and remotely. The cameras for this system don't require an ethernet cable so they are "wireless" in that regard. For wired cameras you have to pull wires all throughout your property to each camera and most people just aren't up to a big job like that or paying another $500 to have an installer do it. The reception was just fine using only WIFI. The cameras do still have power wires but that's a given. You don't want to change batteries on 4 (or more) cameras every 3 months. Finding an outlet for each cam might be challenging depending where you want them. Daytime quality was great with good HDR exposure and detail. Night time was another story. Detail was a bit soft and anything moving was a bit smeared/blurred. The thing is, this is $600 for 4 cameras and an NVR with a 1tb hdd and it doesn't need cloud subscription. There are systems with better night vision but 1 camera might be $600. This is a very good system at this price point and there are no ongoing fees as with nest/wyze, etc. This allows for 12 channels so you can still add door bell cameras and other devices as needed for ultimate coverage of your property.

Its really good when it comes to wireless recording capabilities. But i would cut marks for camera not being wide angle enough and clear in dark. Also the NVR limits recording to only reolink cameras and no other ip camera is allowed to add for recording (wireless).
