Brother XM3700 Sewing Machine 37 Built-in Stitches

This works well. It has more abilities than I thought so it does help in a pinch. I always need a sewing machine. Easy to understand directions and threads nicely.

​Look, I am not exactly the target audience for a sleek, silky smooth, 37 stitch sewing machine. My usual toolkit involves duct tape, zip ties, and WD-40. But when my trusty turkey hunting vest finally gave up the ghost—broken buckle, zipper hanging by a thread, game pouch ripped open from hauling too many birds (and maybe a few too many snacks)—it was time to take matters into my own hands. ​ Enter this machine. ​I was skeptical. It looked a little too frilly to be handling heavy-duty camouflage canvas, but this thing is an absolute beast in disguise. It hammered through layers of camo and buckle webbing like a strutting tom looking for a hot hen. Bottom line: If it can survive my level of aggressively unqualified repairmanship, it can handle your throw pillows and hems.

I have been using this machine for about a week now, and I love it! It did take me a minute to figure out how to use different feet, but the instructions are very clear, and it is my first machine with so many different options. I use it for felt mostly, so far, and it works great! I am very happy with my purchase. It is not very heavy, I can easily lift it out of the box with one hand. It is easy to thread, and I like the little helper hook. It is tiny, but once you know that it’s there, you don’t even need to see it.

The Brother XM3700 sewing machine is an excellent beginner machine with 37 built-in stitches. That’s all the stitches I ever need. I chose the option that included five sewing feet, because I already had a case from my other Brother's machine. This machine is simple to use and runs smoothly. It’s a great loaner machine when people come to my Home, and I teach them to sew… The Brother brand stands out above the rest. In my opinion for The everyday person. Experienced sour of over 40+ years experience, and I’m familiar with Bernina, Janome, Singer, along with Brother's machines. I was able to make over 30,000 masks in 2020 before I burned out the machine. I am impressed with the quality and the number of sewing hours performance on this machine. What I love about this machine is that it comes with presets, so you can take it right out of the box and start sewing without having to go through the entire set up. It worked perfectly from the start. The quality is outstanding and perfect for all ages. One of the best sewing machines for the beginner. I have seen.

I am so happy with this srwing machine. It replaced brand new singer, which i was having alot problems with, and my daughter is having the same issues with hers, and they are exactly alike, and both was less than a year old
