This brand is the best that I have ever tried for these reasons: + The dressing is thick and smooth and how amazing to find this thickness in a vinaigrette type of dressing! This one looks and tastes CREAMY and superb! + It is has a light and refreshing taste and it is the read deal with a distinct taste of Vidalia Onion in this dressing. + I use it right out of the bottle for my salad dressing and as a quick marinade, however, I use it for my own recipe of Tahini-Mustard-Onion Sauce as I love this as a sauce over my cooked noodles and even on mashed potatoes! Here is my recipe: + 3/4 TABLESPOON TO 1 TABLESPOON Gulden's mustard + 1 1/2 to 2 TABLESPOONS Tahini sauce + 2 to 3 TABLESPOONS Onion Dressing (ready made) such as a vinegrette one (creamy but less calories than regular creamy type). + 2 TABLESPOONS SOY SAUCE + 1 TABLESPOON OLIVE OIL or TOASTED SESAME OIL (has more flavor). Place all ingredients in a small to medium bowl and whisk briskly with a fork or a wire whisk until blended and this thickens. When I use this as an instant sauce, I pour it over one cup of cooked noodles and blend well. This is so much healthier and lower calorie than a heavy gravy with flour. My favorite salad dressing.
I love turkey subs I used to but at my favorite subshop. I asked the lady one time what kind of dressing she put on my subs and she actually gave me her secret. She used Vidalia Onion Vinegarette/Salad dressing. I ended up buying some and I use it for sandwiches and salads and pretty much anything I put dressing on. Very very good.
