Dream Reach Throwing Axes 2 Pack - 16 in Viking Tomahawk Axe

bought these for a fun time with friends. They are decent throwing axes. Eventually the handles get loose or break but that's true of most axes you throw in my experience. They look great and hold up to the abuse, even hitting granite boulders they have not shattered or anything so the steel is decent quality. I think of these as good fun cheap throwing axes. If you use them a lot you will prolly need to do some work on the handles or replace them. I really feel for the price you aren't getting a better cool looking cheap throwers. I have bought a 5 different options so I have some other throwers for comparison.

These are pretty cool little throwing axes. They work well and are balanced as I would like. The handles as others mentioned, are a bit on the brittle side and break if you get a handle hit. The steel is actually heat treated and the edges are sharp. Overall pretty good, but they need better wood for their handles. They also need to sell inexpensive replacement handles. Wish they would make this same head with a tomahawk style slip fit handle, then it would be really good.

These little axes have a great look, and are super fun to throw! I will say that the blade is a little thicker than most axes made for throwing, making it a little harder to stick into a dry target but still a really fun throw once you figure it out! The wooden handle, while it does contribute to the aesthetic, sustains damage little by little over time. I can feel it wiggle slightly sometimes when removing the axe from a target. It’s been thrown probably… 50 times? I haven’t been counting. 😛

Not premium material, but these are good value throwing axes and I definitely recommend them for starters and plinking. They throw and stick easily. Easy throwing for a 10 year old at 15 feet. With adult upper body strength they are good at 30 feet and beyond. The style is one where the handles aren't held in place by wedges or fasteners. This is intentional for this style of axe. It makes the handles easily replaceable when they get broken from bad throws or other axes hitting them. The blade edge is not sharpened. They are intended only as throwing axes, not cutting axes. But you can sharpen the blade if you wish, these axe heads will sharpen just fine.

Heads came lose after the first throwing session. Destroyed the handles to the point of having to rehandle them. At that point not worth the money at all. Very disappointed.

Professional... Yea not really. First handle broke the 3rd throw. A light 2 rotation throw. Snapped just under the head. 2nd one made it maybe 15 throws. I like the shape of the heads. The hole is pretty small to find a new handle

Great hatchets. It is pretty good with great throwing abilities. It has got a sharper edges so can easily get stuck on the target. It’s very light and comfortable to throw. It is definitely fun to use. Loved it!
