1001062 Super Classic Strap - Uni Loop (Black)

Have not had time to use yet but keep being asked to review it looks strong and feels comfortable.

I use one or two heavy lenses with my M4/3 camera which make the standard camera strap uncomfortable. This strap spreads the weight more evenly and is much more comfortable. I wasn't too sure about the security of the quick release connectors but they seem fine and I can see that they could be very useful if you have several cameras. First class product.

The Super Classic Strap with Uni Loops is a great improvement over the standard one supplied with the camera. It is very comfortable. When the camera is used on a tripod the main part of the strap can easily be disconnected to stop it getting in the way or flapping about, or you can easily change to using the wrist strap. The price is very reasonable. Only four stars as the first one that I received had two female uni loops and two male ends on the main strap making it incompatible with other bits of the system. I'm guessing that the main part of the strap was made incorrectly, Optech realised this and then paired it with two identical uni loops to make the whole strap work - two wrongs making a right! Returning the faulty one and receiving a correct version was fairly painless just a bit inconvenient.

As a professional wedding photographer, I need good camera straps. But sometimes, straps can be annoying. This OpTech solution solves this problem. The two end tags connect securely to the camera body, the strap itself clips into place. So, you can remove it whenever you want or need to. Sometimes, I replace it with the OpTech wrist strap, which I don't actually use around my wrist, but simply gives me something to hold the camera by, when carrying other equipment. The straps themselves are made of neoprene, which has a slight stretch and bounce to it. Which I find very comfortable to wear and doesn't slip when on your shoulder etc.

I highly recommend this camera strap. I fitted it to my Nikon D850, which is a heavy camera, and used it for three days almost non-stop and I can say that it's really comfortable.

The strap is well made and looks like it would be comfortable. It would probably be ideal as a neck strap for a DSLR. It's probably my fault, but I was under the impression that it was a shoulder strap where you could sling your camera over your shoulder and have it resting on your waist / hip. The strap is way too short for that and the camera ends up under your armpit. Sadly, it wasn't suitable for the purpose that I wanted it for, so I returned it. There were no quibbles at all and my money was refunded.

discreet, comfortable, and easy to remove if it is in the way (when using a tripod, for example). Also, it is part of OpTech's uni-loop system, so you can get extension straps if needed, or replace it with their hand strap. Strong enough for DSLRs, but not to bulky for my M43 mirrorless system.

Prefer OP/TECH US over my Peak Design Slide Lite strap. The OP/TECH USA doesn't slip like my Peak Design and doesn't have the wide floppy loop down by the camera body that always gets in my way when I pick up the camera to shoot. I'm told that the Peak Design buckles are designed to allow for slip for easy adjustment on the go but I found it to be more of an annoyance. The traditional OP/TECH simple stay-put design is much more to my liking. Adjust it once, it stays put! The OP/TECH cushioned neck band is also very comfortable and the entire product has a quality feel to it. It's not stylish, trendy, and pricey like Peak Design but IMHO it is much more practical and at very reasonable price. Some say the OP/TECH strap is too short and I can understand that if you're a taller person. I'm just 5'8" yet I have the straps fully extended. It fits me fine but for taller people or those who like the camera to hang lower OP/TECH makes optional extensions. I also bought the OP/TECH wrist strap that clips right onto their quick-disconnect system. Like the OP/TECH neck strap it too is very comfortable. It's replacing my Peak Design wrist strap. Great product! Great price! Wish I knew about OP/TECH earlier!

Very happy with my strap, excellent quality - much better than camera manufacturers. I also use the clips on my binoculars too so everything is interchangeable with shoulder, neck straps and harnessess. Great quality, customer for life! This strap is very comfortable, not too thick width wise, but stays on the shoulder if you throw it over there as it has non slip neoprene. It doesn't really smell of anything - so not sure of the other reviews mentioning smell. The stitching is great and looks like it'll last. The plastic clips are very good quality, thick and strong. Hopefully I'll get the triple carrier or double sling to try eventually - lots of variety to change it up. These straps also help if you have a back neck or back.

Perfect strap for my binoculars. Can remove if needed. Also doubles as a better case strap. I'll cut off the case strap.
