How flimsy is the plastic and how many uses until breakage?

The plastic is surprisingly sturdy. I have used these containers about a month and have hand washed and put them in the dishwasher. No breakage yet. I am careful when taking off the lid, loosen it all around the edge instead of just lifting from one corner or side. I'm very happy with them so far

Are these freezer safe as well as microwave and dishwasher safe?

Yes they work great in the microwave. They seems to help steam the veggies. Haven't really used them in the freezer too much but I dont see why there would be an issue.
