Very surprised but worked perfectly
Took a chance and it fit perfectly on my windshield cowl, unfortunately due to the hot Texas sun baked and cracked the original weather stripping so I ripped it off and just tucked this new one on through the slit it provides and it's nice and tight, this was used on a 2013 Ram 1500 R/T truck

No adhesive came on product as advertised
Not universal as implied by product description. Sent back as it did not fit on our 2018 explorer. Also, no adhesive came on this product to keep in place. Returned for refund and order different item.

Ok for temp fix
Works good enough for temp fix until you can get a new full shroud. Easy install, after cutting out old rubber. Didn't fit as tight as I'd like, but was ok for short term. The edge that attaches to main shroud is not designed to attach to OEM , so you'll have to make sure you get edge clean to fit. Sealed fairly well but had issues at both ends.

Great product, but not recommended
If you have all the time in the world, buy this, remove your cowl, grind the edge flat to fit, then glue this in place. I believe this is the best type of seal if that is your choice. I have too many demands on my time so after discovering this would not work without modifying the cowl I just ordered a new cowl with seals already in place.

Exactly what my car needed
The original seal was dry rotted. After cleaning of the cowl this fit really well. It was a little difficult to get it started, but I started on the passenger side with my left hand, I am right hand dominant. So far it is working well.
