Great bit of kit. Very easy to attach to the charger and records all events. Why pay for “cloud” storage when you have this. No issues and saves all recording for later playback. For the price, a lot cheaper than cloud storage.

Excellent buy works well with camera

This item is a very expensive addition I’ve had to buy just to pave the way to having local storage for my camera rather than being pushed into yet another subscription plan . Even now I can’t have all the features I would if I had a basic subscription. I think that there is such greed these days by companies who want to toe you in to subscription for pretty much everything. I feel that having purchased camera - which could easily have had a TF card slot facility, I then needed this hub AND also USB flash drive. For ONE camera . Even if I had more cameras, the app could have linked all those, a hub is so unnecessary. Blink have made the whole thing unnecessarily complex & pricey - I just want to monitor my cats health in their bathroom faculties and have footage to show the vet if need be… - A full subscription would have cost £80+ a year (per account) A basic plan £25+ a year (per device). I’ve already parted with around £60 plus another almost £50 for the camera mount to be 3D printed and shipped to the UK. Imagine a subscription on top of this!!! Madness. I had other cameras, and they do take TF cards and gave Amos y 360* views (Blink is stationary!) but unfortunately the motors mean that both are too bulky for sensible or reliably safe mounting to the Litter Robot 4 - so Blink Mini at least offered me the necessary size and the fact it’s stationery should not matter too much. Once the mount arrives and things are set up I think it will do what I need, albeit that having been forced to buy these components I also now have to have two devices plugged in both using energy (the camera & it’s unnecessary hub) . I do wish sense and not greed would prevail and certainly this would also have resulted in better design. I will say that the picture quality is good, the alerts are useful (especially if this was monitoring a home or even a child’s nursery) and the light facility is a nice touch too. I just can’t say it’s good value, or good design and I am , as you can tell, aggrieved by the way I’ve been forced to spend money that need not have been needed. No matter which way I’d gone, local or subscribed, Blink was /is making sure I am lining their fat-cat pockets

I bought this 250 gig flash storage chip to use to store images from my Blink 2 camera locally. It’s advertised as plug and play but when I tried it a message came up “Not Supported “ , I contacted Blink support and reformatted the chip . All works fine now

Blink is a great product

Waste if time money, useless. The app crashes daily, its connected this is added never saves anything. Although blink tesm blame is WiFi. Everything worked perfectly no faults. Until free trial ended. Alleged have one script, turn on and iff WiFi its not connected. I have a ierfrct signal. The apps constantly problematic Before subscription trial ended percect. Until customer services contacted no faults. Now daily something. Call centre staff can be rude, dismissive no help at all. As all they say reboot your router. Why? Irs connected not faulty. It doesn't fixed dues as Blink ap, the issue their servers, ap, causing it. Then blaming customer for faults. Beware, as bought this as extra bsck up supoosedly fail-safe you cannot even manually send anything to USB connected. I.e.click backup clips now, save all clips to USB. As design fault in AP. You cannot click on save to.... nope way to simple folks. Click an app option send clips ti USB Synch module why gave tgat when daily you get cannot save clips, no reason back upfield no reason ti troubleshoot, no way to backup a thing. Ona hard USB copy. Mis-sellimg usage, false advertising, its easy, fast, can be added, etc, its a waste if time, money, useless witg srafc tgat arefuxated on my wifi not their products servces paid fir by ke to work connected to their abandoned devices. Blsme a WiFi connected with best signal you can get. Beware all beware its not what its cracked up to be this product. Amazon awful afterwards and no product help, and support. No refund if money, no compensation and still faults daily after paid money for my plan. I feelsnnoyed as before mkney 3xchakhed everything worked 100% fine, no issues. Add synch on and pay daily headaches.

Very easy to set up. Nice and compact with no messy wires. Design is very good and they've thought of everything. I would recommend this item.
