The 103 bypass pruners fit perfectly into this holster and both ride comfortably on my right hip when I'm out in the yard. The leather is a very high quality natural tan with flawless stitching and craftsmanship. One of the coolest aspects of this leather is that because it is not dyed, the holster will darken -- tan, if you will -- when left in the sun. My photo show the holster after it was left in the sun for about five days. I did not apply any conditioner; I just set it outside in bright sunlight and waited for it to get a nice bronze patina. The tanning makes owning this a bit more enjoyable for me for some reason. Anyway, all-in-all, I love this holster. It's a simple and elegant solution for for me needing my pruners on my right hip at all times when out doing yard work. Five suntanned stars.

Very nicely made holster at a fair price, but seems to be left handed? The way the curve at the bottom goes... pruners can technically be oriented up or down on insert, but with sheathe on right hip, the pruners sit deeper and more secure if you flip them over to face up (cutting edge up). Tried inserting cutting edge down anyway (on right hip), but they don't wedge in properly. Fine while standing to work, but if you bend over or get in a vehicle or sit down... I don't want to add extra steps of flipping it over every time I insert or draw and personally I use pruners left handed pretty often to get better cut angles, maybe 30% of the time left handed, so I just set it up on my left hip & go left handed by default now. Switch to right when it gives a better cut. I know most people won't want to do that though. I don't currently see a right handed version available on amazon

I purchased this hoping it would fit my new Tobisho Pruning Shears (SR-1 200mm). The shears fit nicely in the holster. The holster is well made with good quality leather. The belt loop design keeps my shears safely and conveniently at hand. If you have a quality set of shears, protect them with a nice leather holster.

Excellent quality. The color of the holster is too light, I applied neatsfoot oil to condition and darken the leather. I use pruners daily in my nursery business, including wearing this holster 24/7. The holster is too large for the 104. If inserted, it's very loose and will fall out if. The solution is you have to unlock and allow the pruner handles to remain open. The 104 pruner is snug if locked, but will fall out if you enter vehicles or up and down on your feet or on your knees. Again, you have to unlock the pruner for it to remain snug.

The Okatsune shears fit perfectly in this Solid leather and affordable. Highly recommend

Like other reviewers, I have owned numerous pruners over the past 50 years. I almost gave up the hope that I would ever find one that does what it promises. But, this pruner is everything the manufacturer says it is. It is comfortable in the hand, but better, it is brilliantly sharp, durable and easy to use. I just can't say enough about this tool. It cuts dry branches as well as green ones, even last year's crape myrtles. I highly recommend this wonderful pruner!

I bought the pruning shears model № 104 and was so impressed that I bought the holster for the tool. It's a perfect fit with a nice snug fit to keep the pruners from dropping out. The holster is made with really solid, rigid leather and I anticipate that it will last a good long time. Highly recommend!
