Failed in 6 months
This looked like the perfect solution for the addition of several ports to my 2017 MacBook Pro - and at first it was.After normal use (in less than 6 months), the plug-ins are now loose and fail to make contact unless you hold it firmly in place. The SD card reader does not work at all anymore. Definitely not worth the money or fuss to make it work.

USB HUB
This has been really great for me to download my photographs from my camera card reader. Well worth the money. I take many photographs and was disappointed I couldn't download to my computer and this has solved my problem.

Broke after a couple weeks
It became loose after a couple uses and stopped working altogether without having something propped up under it to keep it inserted. Very poor quality.

Stopped working after 9 months
It is a well made product and worked perfectly when I first got it. I was very happy with it - until today. It suddenly stopped recognizing any card I insert. No damage, nothing broken - just stopped working.

Failed in 3 months
I bought one of these last year and have really liked it. So I bought a second for my wife in May. That one has already failed, in 3 months. The HDMI port does not work any more as of sunday night when we needed it for a presentation. Will find something else.
