Actually grabbed this for our family car because the idle was getting a little rough and the mileage had dipped. Two kids, lots of school runs, engine doesnt get many long highway trips, so I figured the valves were probably gunked up. Poured the whole 150 ml bottle into a half tank of petrol, then did a longer weekend drive. Throttle response feels a bit better and the engine sound is a touch smoother, so I’m glad it works. On the downside, I wish the bottle had clearer marks for smaller doses since my wife’s little hatchback tank is tiny. I had to eyeball it, which bugged me more than it should.

I grabbed this for my wife’s old SUV after a Saturday hike, because her engine kept doing this annoying little stumble at stoplights. I’d already swapped one catalytic converter and really didn’t feel like crawling behind the engine again, so I poured this in before a grocery run. After that tank the miss backed off a lot. Not gone, but the idle felt smoother and pulls up the hill to the trailhead were less jerky 🚙. After a couple tanks I realized the coils are actually the main problem, but this cleaner still did its job and loosened things up. If you’re chasing a minor miss and want to clean the injectors first, this is a handy first step and I’m glad I tried it 🙂.

La verdad es que compré este Liqui Moly Valve Clean sin muchas expectativas, solo porque mi coche ya está viejito y sentía que le faltaba fuerza. Pero qué sorpresa me llevé cuando lo eché al tanque antes de llenar gasolina. Desde el primer viaje noté que el motor sonaba más suave y respondía mejor al acelerar, como si hubiera recuperado su juventud. Hasta el consumo de gasolina mejoró un poquito, que con los precios de hoy se agradece. Es súper fácil de usar, solo lo viertes y ya, sin tener que ensuciarte las manos ni nada. El frasquito es pequeño, alcanza justo para un tanque, pero por el precio de once dólares con noventa y nueve, la verdad es que vale totalmente la pena. No hace milagros, pero se nota bastante la mejora. Por eso tiene tan buenas reseñas y tanta gente lo compra. Yo ya lo tengo en mi lista para repetir.

Can't really comment on this cleaner. I used it in both a car and a pickup truck, but did not notice any difference. That's not to say it didn't work, but based on performance I can't tell if it did or not. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt at 4 stars. At least it didn't make anything worse! Got it on sale, so based on my results, I don't think I'd pay full price.

The lubrication effect of this engine oil is very good

My wife's car had an intermittent miss. After running the codes, I replaced one of the catalytic convertors. The car has three on it, and after watching a video on how to change the one on the back side of the engine, I decided to try this treatment. It really does help with the engine miss. Now, after putting it in the car a couple of times, I have come to the conclusion that the coils are bad. But this stuff did actually help the miss for a bit. I recommend it if you need to clean your fuel injectors.

Esta marca Liqui Moly es de origen alemán por lo cual ya habla de calidad respecto a lo que se encuentra en el mercado Mexicano, de hecho es raro encontrar algún competidor de su tipo, pues los demás son limpiadores del sistema de inyección y este es un limpia válvulas para motores a gasolina. Su uso es bastante fácil, solamente cuando tengas que llenar tu tanque de gasolina agrégalo -trae ya su pequeño embudo- antes de cargar por completo dado que lo puedes usar en tanques que van desde los 40 a los 75 litros de gasolina, si tienes un vehiculo con un tanque de mayor capacidad considera adquirir un par de estos. El resultado es que resuelve problemas de ralentí inestable, el motor en baja se siente con menos vibraciones, auxilia a bajar los niveles de emisiones para la verificación -cabe aclarar que no verifico en CDMX- y la respuesta al acelerador mejora ligeramente. No esperes una mejora sustancial puesto que estos aditivos son para limpieza fina no obstante con nuestras gasolinas -siempre he usado magna- yo lo recomendaría usar cuando menos cada 5 mil km como mantenimiento. Lo usé en dos vehículos diferentes uno modelo 2006 y uno modelo 2013 sin problemas.
