This isolation shield worked perfectly for my recordings. The quality is great and I love that you can mount it on a mic stand or let it stand alone on its legs.

Doesn't have a good way of attaching to light stand or tripod. No instructions. Taking way too long to figure out what should be the simplest setup. Bad and frustrating design.Also, even though it says isolation, these things are really more about keeping your voice in the recording so it's not echoing around the room. It's not going to block out sounds. That's what isolation means, it's isolating your audio, not blocking planes and outside noises. If you want that, you need to get a sound proof studio that have actual layers upon layers of insulation. No way any of these bedroom setups will stop outside sound.

This I have absolutely no problem with as it dead stops sound while in a recording room but not open air recording as shown in pics. The hardware is perfect but the foam is too open and light to block sharp eccos or paper noises. I'm going to make my own but if you need the hardware and want to replace the foam probably a gell foam this is absolutely perfect for that... To me it's well made. Especially for a desk setup.
