Aiwa - Exos 30W Home Speaker with CD Player, Bluetooth & FM Radio

Aiwa- Exos Bluetooth CD Player & spaeake: I purchased the Aiwa for the CD Player. Due to space limitations in the new place gave-up my professional rack system. I stream through Sonos Speakers both built -in and free standing (found elsewhere on Amazon) but have CD's which are not available to stream. I found this Aiwa player which had good reviews. The speaker sound is outstanding, perfectly tuned out of the box, the FM radio is a bonus and has an attached FM antenna. My CD's sound great. The unit has a small footprint. It occupies a small space on a book shelf, is clean, no knobs, buttons etc. The remote controls all the functions and is easy to use even the power cord is detachable and there's an on off power switch on the back panel. Both the attached antenna cord and the detachable power cord are thin and unobtrusive. I ordered it in white which works for the room. All in all, great value for the money. I recommend this unit for anyone who wants great sound anywhere as it's easily portable as well. No batteries, AC power outlet required, set-up instructions are enclosed and easy to follow.

Wow! Great little music box. I bought this primarily to play CDs in my workshop while I'm working, and it sounds so good, looks so good, has such a good footprint, is so easy to set up and use, so versatile that I told my wife I'm ordering another one to set up in our living room. Loud enough. Easy to operate. Good remote. Sounds great.

First, potential buyers should know that this DOES include a CD player, although none of the product photos or videos show it open. I checked the Aiwa website to be sure, since this was a replacement for a very poorly-designed Toshiba product that stopped working. Unlike the Toshiba, which took forever to open and close the CD tray, the Aiwa is quite responsive. And the sound is far superior! I was a bit worried when lifting the box for the first time after it was delivered, because it seems quite light. Nevertheless, the sound is quite good. This is not an audiophile device by any means; we use it in the kitchen at mealtimes to play old CDs and sometimes listen to FM radio. It also functions as a Bluetooth speaker and has a line-in. The only negative I have is that everything must be done through the remote control. While this makes for a sleeker looking product, if the remote is out of battery, you are out of luck. It would also be nice if there were at least a volume control on the front, so I don't have to keep grabbing for the remote to change the volume. I have found that the classical CDs we play most often can have pretty wide volume levels, not just within a piece, but between CDs. This unit puts out a lot of sound, even at volume level 7 or 8. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality for the price. I'm just concerned about losing my remote!

This home speaker radio is a great size for the kitchen or other small spaces. It doesn’t take up much counter space, but still provides clear sound with a nice volume level. It’s easy to use, and I like having music or the radio playing while I’m cooking or cleaning. The compact design makes it convenient without adding clutter to the kitchen. Overall, a nice little speaker for everyday use!

I am so happy with the Aiwa stereo system. It came very well packaged. it’s super easy to set up. Very good high quality sound. very good radio reception. My favorite radio station was already preset and it has a CD player. It fits perfectly on the bookshelf and looks really awesome!

Sounds pretty good actually-this is coming from a serious Bose fan! 😍It's very chic looking, easy to set up, Bluetooth and radio works just fine. Many complain about not having buttons to touch but if you have the Bose Wave Systems, you already know that. Like the Bose, if you place the system like 2-3 feet from the floor and about the same from a corner wall, you will achieve a better, richer sound. Doing this will fill the room with sound. I gave it a 3 because the CD player didn't play...AT ALL. I even used a factory CD and it registered as no CD! 😳 After trying several CDs, I decided to return it the next day.😞 I wanted to use it in my classroom. I'm surprised because this brand was extremely popular in the 70s-90s. AI said it may be due to defective motor either from the factory or during shipping. It mentioned other possibilities as well. It was packed very good. It came in its own box AND the Amazon box AND the white Amazon plastic shipping material. Cross your fingers with me...I will send for a replacement today. I'll update the review when the other arrives. 😁

I was introduced to AIWA as a12 years old kid in 1968. My parents took me to a local electronics store for a radio/cassette player for my birthday day. Of course they had the brands like RCA, Zenith, Panasonic, all to expensive for my parents budget. So we were about to walk but the salesman said he had a particular floor sample, this AIWA for $45 bucks. He turned it on and my father loved the full sound, of course I wanted a brand I knew but it wasn't gonna happen. I had it for awhile and it grew on me and it wasn't even stereo but had such detailed sound. Now I'm 71 and remembered that glorious AIWA. I also remembered a friend's Bose wave radio. Believe me you're gonna get that kind of sound from this unit for a fraction of the Bose cost. Clearly distinct detailed sound especially with the soloists. Amazing! Only two drawbacks. Works only with the remote, no buttons on the unit. Also the CD player lens is super sensitive so CDs have to be scratch free and clean. Otherwise with all the playing features makes this compact unit perfect for filling a room with sound. AIWA is bringing back what they were famous for, speakers. Edit: Ended up sending unit back after having it less than a month. CD player skipped continuously. I mistakenly thought my disks were dirty or scuffed. Screeching in the treble in even low levels. Disregard my above review above. Went with a Panasonic for less money. It beats the AIWA in every way.

Great little cd player and speaker! Love that it’s Bluetooth. I love listening to music while cleaning my house. Instead of taking my phone room to room this little speaker has some volume! I can hear it in every room of my house. Good crisp sound. My daughter even steals this to listen to music while she cleans her room too. Definitely recommend.

Hi all, please note, my reason for this review, is due to the very obvious in the "PLUG" into a wall socket system provided for this Radio. Since I am in Australia the supplied plug does not fit our wall power points. Using an adaptor to fit this system, failed dramatically, due to weight of transformer supplied. The transformer kept falling lose off the wall socket. Hence the item had to be returned. Other reasons for return were, if living in a "Rural Area" forget it, it plain & simple does not pick FM stations as mentioned it would. Also note, Amazon has been very helpful in the return process-so far.

The remote is not intuitive and has some difficulty in presetting radio channels

Need a UK plug. Sound just ok.
