VPRO V500 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Black UK Layout

The quality of the keyboard is good and has a nice weight to it. The posting really should make it known what switches are fitted on the keyboard as mine came with blue (not MX) but I know this keyboard also comes with brown from other websites. The delivery was also very quick. As mechanical keyboards go it is basic (apart from the orange backlight) which suits me fine and it is very comfortable to type on which is what is most important. the switches are similar to the MX range and have a satisfying click and feel to them. The downside to getting a cheaper keyboard like this is the awful slow website where you have to download the drivers/support which also seems to make my computers anti-virus think it is loaded with a virus (most likely a false positive as the anti-virus blocked what it was supposed to and the driver still worked). Apart from the driver and that they didn't put the switch type (colour) on the post, I am happy.

I bought this from another website recently to use with a laptop when I am out and about. My main keyboard is a Corsair K70 Lux with MX Brown switches which is wicked. I wanted something really compact which I could use with my thinkpad which has a typically poor laptop keyboard. The V500 came with yellow switches and they are actually really good, I like using it and the keyboard is a lot more solid than expected. It's not as good as my K70, however for the money I was really pleased. It is the same layout with the large enter key on the right. There are not any lights on the keyboard, the top right two keys only light up. But it still looks pretty nifty and is very compact, the same width as my laptop. I would recommend it, I am pretty pleased with mine, and for the money it is excellent.
