I really liked the simple design of this line of burners, and I'm not disappointed with the quality. It's well made of sturdy ceramic with a nice finish, and the cantilever design holds the stick steady. It's the perfect size for Satya brand incense, and there's enough ventilation to allow good burning. Amid so many understated and overstated designs, this is an obvious winner.

Very nice item / good quality / works well / captures ash / very easy to clean I Ordered a Second One ... 1st one was Green in color --- I use it Frequently. Second one was Advertised as Brown ... However, it is a Very Very Dark Brown ...... It looks Black. I am keeping it ... because it works well ... If you order the Brown Color ... Don't be surprised when you Open the box and find that it is closer to Black than Brown.... But ... if that doesn't bother you ... You will find that it works well ... So don't automatically return it just because of the color

Ordered this after having purchased a different kind that broke way to easy. This is beautiful and very well made. It came with 2 packs of incense, a little brush and tweezers which I was not expecting and was a great surprise. We have incense that are a bit long we just break off a bit of the stick and they work perfectly. I love that we no longer have ashes everywhere as thus does a great job of keeping them all contained. Its easy to use and looks so pretty with the smoke coming up through the top. I would definitely order this again and recommend it to friends.

I have them for a year now, still looks good, no regret.

A very nice incense burner. Nice to have a simple design that is not made of wood. We had tried some of the basic wooden coffin incense holders that have storage. We had one from Walmart that lasted us for several years. But every one of those types we ordered from Amazon came damaged. So this was a pleasant surprise to be ceramic and a lovely design. It had a nice heft to it and the incense tubes were elegant and nice to contain incense as a starter. The brush and tweezers are also nice additions. The price was most reasonable, especially considering that some of those cheap wooden coffin ones I mentioned were just a few dollars cheaper. The only cons I have are that its size does not accommodate the stick incense we usually get. You have to cut the wooden part of the incense that normally sticks in the hole to hold it. Those sticks are also a little thicker than the ones that come with this, so they rise at a higher angle, so you cannot close the lid. THAT IS A MINOR ISSUE. The sticks still work, and the ash falls into the holder still. It might have been nice to have a storage chamber beneath to hold incense. But again this is not an issue, just something to consider. | Over all the quality is excellent. The price is reasonable. The design is elegant. The ease of cleaning is convenient.

This does exactly what i want it to do. Keep in mind this is a Chineese product, not Japanese. The incense included is Chineese, not Japanese, so the cultural significance to the fragrence is significantly different. (I bought it for the holder, not the incense). Chineese incense is cultrually around TCM (Traditional Chineese Medicine) and prayer vs Japanese over the subtalty in the fragrences itself, so they place importance over the smoke making any fragrance added secondary. If you like fragrences like "Palo Santo" you'll probably like the included sticks and other Chineese options, otherwise they may be too much for you. any non-wood fragrance will be very faint in any (cored or coreless) traditional sticks. Many see all the Chineese charators and miss the small print of what the scents are: The green tube lists "Al cao xiang", the ai tranlated it to basically saying "Good Fortune". the off-white tube say's "Tan Xiang" which the ai translated to being "Sandlewood". the "good fortune" is on the smokey side so is likely centered more along agarwood (sometimes refered to as eaglewood in China) and the other is obviously based on sandlewood. As for the holder itself, it's a heavy ceramic piece and of a solid design. I got the one with the holder and not the steel mesh. The holder is very intuative for how it holds the stick. Keep in mind for any coreless stick, there will be at least 1/2" of the stick that won't be burned with the holder setup. As for cleanup, that is simple to just empy or brush out the ashes. I highly recommend washing the lid after each use as residue from burning any stick will collect on it. This residue will affect the fragance if you want to swich the type of stick you burn, and over time it can eat away at the ceramic finish. (There's always burning with the cover off if you don't want to keep washing off the residue.) The space in the holder is about 8.5", so you can use it to burn both cored and coreless sticks that are up to 8" without any problem, and many of the cored sticks that are 9-10" have more than enough extra core sticking out that you can trim many of them to fit the holder without loosing any of the burnable material. (you only need about 1/2" of the exposed portion of the core to hang on the holder if burning cored sticks)

Very nice sturdy incense holder. The colors are soft but bold. I do not use it to burn incense, however, I use it as a tray to hold the incense instead of keeping the sticks in the box. The size is perfect for normal 12in sticks or smaller. The holder is heavy enough to stay in place plus it has soft grips on the bottom to keep it in place.

i was unsure of the quality when ordering this but honestly once i got it, there is weight to it and it feels made of heavy material. its ceramic/metal i think. i use the satya nag champa incense sticks and it fits perfectly on the metal rack inside. burns great and mine did not burn out or anything. the soot does collect on the lid but thats expected so i did go with the darker color because i knew that would happen. only thing i would love to see in a future model of this is an incense holder drawer. i recommend, its good value for the price. keeps the ashes hidden away in an aesthetic design. havent tried the tools or incense that came with but its a nice bonus!

Unfortunately this will break quickly with regular use I use mine once a week when cleaning and didn't last long

Beautiful and well made product. However, it's only suitable for japanese style incense stick. Other types of joss sticks will need to be shorten to fit. Also, sometimes the incense stick sits too high and putting the lid on will snuff out the incense stick.

見た目も素敵です。置いてて上品な感じです。タイトルにも書きましたが私が何よりも重視するのは万が一の火災の心配です。お香が倒れたり、灰と一緒に火が落ちて火事になったり、世の中ではそういったお線香やお香の事故もありますけど、これだと絶対に失火はないと思いますので安心です。 お香はリラックスタイムにも有効ですが、お部屋に焼肉やお好み焼などの匂いがついてファブリーズやっても残ってしまった時にはお香一本で匂いが消えるのでとても愛用しています。このケースでさらに安心して使っていけます良い買い物をしました。

I love this ceramic burner as it enables my Japanese Kobe incense sticks to be fully utilised with the mesh allowing airflow. And it stops any ash mess flying anywhere. It is small and compact. I was worried that the mesh would not last. However I have been using it now for a while and the mesh is still in perfect condition. I am buying another one for another room as it is really a high quality burner. The brush makes easy clean for next stick too. Note: I can’t comment on the intense sticks it came with as I did not use them, as I couldn’t read the labels and was not sure of their quality.
