Galleyware Suitcase Dishrack

I love, love, love this dish rack for use in my RV. I has a place for dishes, glasses, and flatware. I can lay it on the counter top and it will catch any water drainage. Best of all, it stores in a tiny space. It just folds up and can go just about anywhere when not in use. I had one previously and it somehow disappeared. I looked high and low for a replacement just like it because no other dish rack came close to the practicality of this one.

this dishrack is useless. it does not lay flat, it holds next to nothing. i live by myself, and do dishes after each meal; it still doesn't hold what i've used. i'd give it negative stars if i could.

Works well. I have to put a couple bowls on the bottom of each side to keep the rack from tipping over when I set our regular dinner plates on it. I like that water is caught on the base.

I like the compact style. Hard to clean. Get's dirty at the hinges site.

I used the heck out of one on my boat for years until the silverware holder broke in the middle and then I just laid the pieces side by side and used it that way. Put paper towels underneath on either side of the plate holders to absorb the water. Bought this one for new RV and it works just as well as the first one. Great for rigs with little counter space. Compact, folds & locks for storage.

I have been RVing for over 25 years. I've always used this style of dish rack because of the compactness of it when on the move. They usually last many years before the plastic begins to break. The plastic hinge will break on the ones that I've had after hundreds of openings and closings. My last one was held together with paper clips after 10+ years of use. I had trouble finding one before discovering this one. I wouldn't want anything else.

Broke in first 6 months so no longer stays open. Galleyware tells me their one year warranty doesn't apply because I bought it through Amazon and not from them directly.

This thing is pretty great for base camp or stationary use. Been using four for my Scout troop for two years now.
