Keep 'em coming, Hasbro!!
All of us of various ages LOVE the Clue Escape Games. We love the mechanics of building the board as you go, and of everyone actually having a character so that you don't have one or two people just taking over like in other escape room games (well, it's still possible, but this makes it easier to set parameters, like whichever character finds the last piece in a puzzle gets first try at solving it). Fun themes, fun and creative puzzles, just great games.

Perfect Escape Room game for teens & adults
Purchased this Escape Room game set at a great price. We completed the Escape Room game on Thanksgiving, there were 3 adults and one teenager, and it took about 1.5 hours to finish. We were able to solve without hints, and we did guess correctly in the end (although we were only about 75% sure we were right when we guessed). I would say this game is perfect for a mix of older teens and / or adults. The challenges did require some teamwork to figure out, but they weren't completely out of reach. One exceptional feature of this particular Escape room game is that, if you know how to out everything back in the correct order, you could actually pass this along to another group of people to complete when you are done! This is pretty unique, as every other Escape Room game I have come across in the past required cutting/ruining something included in the game box to solve the puzzles - which means it can only be solved once. I love that this one is technically reusable!

A Fun Family Game Night!
I am a big CLUE fan as well as an escape room game fan. So this was a must have. I played by myself. The game contents are very well done. Everything looks great. The game is an escape room with a Clue theme. The box gives a difficulty rating of 2 out of 5 and I agree with this assessment. This is definitely easier to solve then the Exit or Escape the Room games and it’s definitely made for families. I did this solo and enjoyed it but it wouldn’t be good for a group of adults. Unless you just really like the theme as I do. Just like the board game you have to figure out who killed Mr. Boddy? Where? And with What? The game is played with various tiles that will be placed to create the game board and a deck of numbered cards is used as the games AI if you will. There’s a tutorial first deck to show you how the game works. And the instruction booklet offers hints and solutions if you really need them. All the answers to the various puzzles are numbers and technically you can cheat by simply guessing the various number combination based on the cards you currently have. It doesn’t always work but adults may figure this out quickly. As you explore the mansion more rooms are revealed and various cards give clues puzzles and items. Some even overlay on the tiles to form different pictures. For example when you open a cabinet one card overlays to show you the cabinet open and what’s inside. It’s very cool how the game looks and actually feels like your exploring the mansion. Production value and theming were great. After you solve all the puzzles you then take all the clues you’ve gathered in the game and use those to solve the mystery. You could be right or wrong. I did guess correctly so the clues do lead you to the answer. I even messed up one puzzle so didn’t get one of the clues but the remaining clues were enough to still solve it. If you don’t get a lot of the clues though it may be harder to solve the ending. This is a one time game so once the family plays it’s done. However unlike other games you don’t cut or rip anything so if you actually keep track of the various decks of cards you could possibly reset the game to give to someone else but I’d advise writing down the card numbers of the various decks so you know how to separate it. I’m tossing the game afterwards but I think you could reset it. It was a fun two hours I spent and if you play with the family there’s little acting stunts to perform (like when a card says you reach out and get a shock you’re supposed to shake your hand and act like you were shocked until your next turn comes around). Cute. And there’s some timed puzzles so keep your phone handy to use as a timer. But unlike other escape room games except for certain puzzles there’s no overall time limit. I enjoyed this game and I’d love if they made more but just be aware it’s on the easy side and is a one time game.

Logical and lots of fun
My son and I had so much fun doing this together. I loved that it actually made sense and had a story line. Other escape room games have seemingly random puzzles or riddles but this one actually made sense and was logical. Really, really fun! You also don't have to ruin anything to solve it, so you can put away and play it again someday or give it to a friend to enjoy.

Super fun, great price!
The Illusionist’s Club game was so fun, especially for the price. I looked at many different escape room style games for sale on Amazon, and chose this one based on reviews and price. We have done the real life escape rooms and wanted an at home experience to do with our three kids (teenage to young twenties). The front of the game says 90 mins-2 hours, I think it took us more like 2.5 hours, however we did deliberate on the final solution for quite some time. Another factor for choosing The Illusionist’s Club over the other Clue options was the difficulty level. Some reviewers said that the other options were too easy. I thought this one was perfect. How to solve some of the puzzles came to us pretty quickly, others we had to think about for a bit. There are hints for each puzzle if you get stuck. It’s a one time play, I will pass this game on to another family to enjoy!

Fun Twist on the Classic, Damaged Shipping
My family loves board games of all kinds, and Clue has always been a favorite. We discovered the Clue Escape series recently, and "Robbery at The Museum" is the third game we've played from this series. We started with the Tudor Mansion and followed that up with the Midnight Hotel. Each game offers a unique and engaging experience. Initially, the gameplay can be a bit challenging to grasp, but once you get the hang of it, it's incredibly fun. The game is a bit too advanced for my four-year-old, but my 11-year-old enjoys the puzzles and trying to solve the mystery. However, my wife and I often end up solving the more complex puzzles. While the game itself is highly enjoyable, we had an issue with the shipping. The box we received was damaged and had what smelled like soap all over it, making it wet and soggy. Fortunately, the contents inside were unaffected, but it was still disappointing to receive it in that condition. It's important to note that this game is a one-time play. While you can technically re-package it to gift to someone else, once you've solved the mystery, the game loses its replay value. Overall, "Robbery at The Museum" is a fun twist on the traditional Clue game and is a great way to spend a couple of hours with the family. Despite the shipping mishap, we'll continue to enjoy these games and love pretending to be detectives!
