Automatic Aquarium Feeder - Auto Fish Food Dispenser, Rechargeable Timer with USB Charger (Black)

So far so good. My tank is a fairly new set up and facing a few days away, I wanted a solution that would keep my new family members fed! This has been running for a week so far (while I'm still here to check on it), and it's working just fine. It was easy enough to set up, and so far the battery is doing very well. I only feed one rotation twice a day, and I'd have no concerns about setting it up to run for a couple of weeks. It holds more than enough food, I do use flakes which aren't fully recommended, but I've ground them into more or less a powder and it falls through the slot just fine. My only wish is that the 'output slot' was more adjustable, it has small notches and even the first is a bit too big for my tank. (45L, 5 minnows, 3 shrimp, and a few snails who hitchhiked in on the plants)

This item is brilliant and was really easy to set up. I fully charged it for a 2 week holiday and used pellet food for a tank of 10 fish plus a gecko, shrimp and snails. They were fed small amounts twice per day, at set times and I tested it for a few days before going away. I did chuck a couple of bug bites into the tank for good measure in case. All fish were still alive when I got home, water quality was good and the battery on the feeder is still going strong over a week later. Also feeder had not moved from the position I had placed it in. Really happy with this item.

I bought this with some trepidation as outdoor pond feeders are expensive and over priced. I have successfully set this up with weather resistant sleeve (as per photo) made out of standard plastic bottles. This is to feed six Goldfish in my smallish pond. So far its easy to set up and programme and has delivered a daily feed. A bit of testing need to set correct portion, but it works excellently. I will bring it indoors during sub zero weather as not sure how electronics and the battery will fair and the fish hardly feed.

This saved my holidays, it dos work just how it supposed to work , i did put the timer too feed the fishes two times per day in 12 hours , that can be added to up to three times per days every 8 hours, once I receive i did fully charged and is still running perfectly after two weeks in holiday, food quantity can be adjusted to the preferences, the product seems to be good quality and good price for the price!

Gave it a test, figured out how much food I wanted coming out with trial runs into a box, then went about fitting it in the tank. Ended up going with the included gel sticker to attach it sideways so it would fit under the hood of my little tank. And as is perhaps inevitable, once I committed to sticking it in, it no longer worked correctly. There seems to be no public troubleshooting, and since I've used the sticker + already binned the box, this probably isn't refundable through amazon. For the sake of reference - the issues were immediately apparent as it would no longer turn on. I tried for a good while, giving it more time with the charger, and generally replicating what I did before attaching it. No luck. The next morning I came back and it turned on again, a true Easter miracle. However it then proceeded to barrel roll for at least 5 full rotations. I gave it another 2 hours of charging time while turned off (at least the power button was now working/doing anything). Then I come back, and with only 2 hours to go before I leave for a long weekend, all I can get it to do is barrel roll spin at least 5 times for every 1 it should be spinning. When I turn it on, the green indicator light is correctly showing on a time, but if I press any of the other times or the manual button it spins several times. When turning it off all 3 indicators flash red. I've ruled out a battery issue with the amount of charging time I've given it, also given that it was working just fine out of the box and on charge for all of 15 minutes. I can only surmise that as soon as I committed to using it the feeder realised it was being given a daily job and it refused to cooperate. It fit great, looks good, and seems like a sturdy design. It was a shame I couldn't simply rotate the barrel and use it upside down as a feeder, but I was able to work with the lack of adjustability. Ultimately, even if it started working now, I wouldn't trust it given it's tendency to spin until I get bored of waiting for it to stop. I'll try a different brand and write this one off as a mistake.

If you stick it to the top of your tank you would have trouble changing it without an extension and if you don’t stick it it falls forward as it is front heavy.

Works great, life saver when I go on holiday because I used to feed these food blocks they sell at pet stores and I always got back to a polluted aquarium with super skinny and dead fish. The battery also lasts for ages, can't remember the last time I hat to charge it.
