Great and secure
This is something I wish I had purchased years ago. I have had this about a year. It is easy to install and it works great. The gate also opens easily and it has little rubber feet that you install it over that help with security. I have hard wood floors and I was worried about this. It is great for cat introductions and it is secure. I do wish I had purchased one that was a tiny bit taller because one of my cats can jump it. The gate is at my shoulder level so most cats cannot.

Dont let the gate slam too much. It weakens the gate.
I absolutely love this gate. It solved all my problems with both of my cats having access to every part of the house. My one cat kept peeing on my couch (I took him to the vet he is fine now) and I had to get a new one. I no longer wanted him to be able to get in my living room. The gate is sturdy and high enough where neither can jump over. Ive moved since I purchased the gate in December 2024 and it helps with keeping the cats in their room since we been in the new home 7/1. I want to be able to see them without having to close the door so the gate is perfect. Looking forward to making this room special for them.

Works well. Awkward when not installed
I bought this so we could sequester a cat who is being picked on by other cats, when we are not at home - without completely shutting her off with a solid door. (We want her to still be able to feel like she is at home, being able to hear and smell and see other things happening in the house. This will also allow the friendliest cat to come up and visit with her through the bars.) It does the job exceedingly well. Even our smallest cat can't squeeze between the upright slats. Having horizontal crossbar only at the top and bottom, there's nothing for him to climb to try to get to the top. I also like the design of the top extension. The fact it swings with the door makes this much easier to use when we need to get through it. There's no crouching down to get under the upper extension. :-) I've taken one star off because of some elements of the design that make it a little awkward. The first is that if you adjust the thumb screws to have it held quite strongly in a door frame, it can make the gate hard to open and re-close. There's no easy way around this problem, with the previously mentioned design that allows the upper extension to move with the door. The second problem is that it is kind of awkward to move around for storage when taken out of the door. The side pieces that help the thumb screw mechanism set the unit into the door do not hold on, so you either have to grasp it with a hand on each side and hold them in as you move it, or find some other way to hold them in place. Also without having no crossbar at top, the unit flexes a good bit, which can allow the door to flop around. With a little practice, you can hold the sides of it, and push in enough to keep the door from flopping. It's a little tricky at first. These two problems are not major, however. One solution could be to use a little bungee cord to hold the side pieces together, and also keep the door from flopping at the same time. Overall, I am quite satisfied with it, and I am happy with it as a solution to our feline Behavioral problem.

Excellent product, well made, works well
At first I was skeptical a gate like this would work very well, but though I’d give it a try, I was very pleasantly surprised to find it’s very solid, well constructed, installs easily, and was the perfect solution to what I needed. I can highly recommend this item…

Super cat blocker
The ultimate cat gate!!! Need a place sectioned off from your furry friends? Look no further! This gate is SUPER easy to install, use, and keeps 4-legged friends out. My two cats have been successfully thwarted from their invasion into cat-free spaces in my home.

very disappointing, poor quality
It is very clunky and not of good quality. The plastic stands do not fit very well, you have to force the gate pieces into them. it took some time to adjust the gate to my door opening using the big knobs. by the time I was done, the gaps between the main gate and adjustable pieces were so big, my cat could go through. I had to use the rest of the gate extension pieces to reinforce the sides, so there are no large openings. Enamel on the gate is cracked/chipped. The white plastic things to attach the top are absolutely not usable, you canʻt hook it up to anything - they are so stiff and tiny. Itʻs impossible to do anything with them. I tried to read the manual on how to use them exactly, but the manual is worse than from Ikea - itʻs mostly pictorials. I ended up using white zip ties. Overall, it was a lot of work to make it work because the quality is so poor!

Great for the price!
Bought this gate because our cat recently got diagnosed with diabetes and he kept stealing his brothers food 😂 I honestly think this pet gate is great for light use. It hold really well and swings open wide which is nice. We keep the door open most of the day until the cats are eating I’ll close him in so he finishes his food and his brother has time to graze. Personally if you have a big dog that would jump on this I’m not sure it would hold up (I used to have a pitbull and she would destroy this thing). But for the price and the height I’m very happy as I saw many tall gates for almost double the price. One tip- I was confused about how the pressure points worked at first but my hubby helped me out-the plastic bottom you have to kind of peel it open and then slide it on then you want to line up the gate where you want it. Once lined up you spin the bolts until they reach the wall on either side so it took both of us doing each side to get it to hold.

Good Gate, Frustrating Assembly
I’m used to buying things with poorly translated or incomplete instructions, but the instructions provided with this gate were beyond useless. I had multiple people help put it together, and we all had different interpretations, and ultimately we were all wrong! There were parts included that were not documented in the instructions, and undocumented parts that were included. The good news is that once I got it into place, it is solid and well secured. My 3 month old kitten took a quick look and immediately gave up on trying to get over it. I would buy another brand in the future just because of the frustrating assembly.

Tall, secure and easy to use cat gate
Works really well and is easy for adults to latch/unlatch. We use this for one of our Foster cats. It's been a great tool in helping keep all the pets separate until they can be together without supervision. It's high enough as well that the cats can't jump over it. It was really easy to install and has been super secure. It doesn't even shake when our 50lb dog leans against it.

It works very well
It's very sturdy, reliable and easy to install. It has been installed at my home for almost one year, so we can keep the cats separated from each other. No issues. I am very surprised, as this is one of the most affordable models. Strongly recommend it.

Not Reusable
The gates are difficult to attach—fine once done though. But removing them is next to impossible and there are no instructions for this. The black patches that adhere to the door framing leave marks and can remove paint. Assuming you can remove the gates, you will find that they are no longer parallel as the side where the gate attaches shifts diagonally relatively to the gates itself and the gates cannot be used in the future or sold second hand.

great for pets
Instructions weren't the most clear but I figured it out on my own (didn't need any help to install). I foster kittens for a rescue and this gate is great for keeping them contained in their area but still having air circulation and socialization. I would like to have the option of closing the door but with the gate on, the door can't close - maybe my door knob is too big.

Has worked well for my two kittens and what I needed it to do.
Love this gate. I ended up adopting 2 little kittens last summer. I started out just keeping them in my room if I wasn’t around to keep them safe and contained but as they out grew that they had full rein of the basement where I live and didn’t have a door to keep them from going upstairs. I got this gate due to its tallness so they couldn’t jump it or climb it. It worked great for few months until my one kitten learned how to jump it. So then I researched ways to get her to not do that. Used zip ties attached to the top and had them sticking up to deter her from jumping which did work for a time but she’s to smart. I then seen an idea of using a shower curtain so I got a rod and a cheap shower curtain that had a picture on it so they couldn’t see through it and would make it look like they can’t jump through it. It’s worked perfectly!!! I felt compared to some of the other gates this one was a good price and the bars are close enough together small 3 month old kittens can’t slip in between them plus the tallness helps a lot. Other gates the bars were to far apart and they could get through and trying to put something so they couldn’t just made it easier to climb. Hopefully this all makes sense and helps someone with deciding if they should get this gate. I also bought the wall nanny’s (I think that’s what they are called) which help secure the part that screws out and tightens to the wall. It helps it keep it in place and doesn’t slip. They work very well! Definitely do not cut the zip tie that comes with the gate that keeps the one part together until you have the gate where you want it because I cut this even though there’s a million things say to not cut it but silly me I missed this lol thankfully I had my own zip ties at home so I re attached it and was able to get the gate up. I also didn’t place the metal bars on the side in the right way because I miss read the instructions but didn’t fix it because it was just to much to re do and didn’t want to do that and well the gate has worked fine the way I put it up.
