The product itself was fine. I found a YouTube video that demonstrated what should have been a two-minute job. The guy advised buying online in order to receive a Torx screwdriver along with the ring. Imagine my surprise when I opened the package and found a regular phillips-head screwdriver! It took a long time to unscrew the Torx screw, and I worried I would strip the screw with this large screwdriver. In short, my 2-star review applies to whoever on the supplier's side decided to include the wrong screwdriver.

This sealing ring fit my Dyson perfectly and was very easy to install. The fit was secure, and I had no issues getting it in place. I’ve been using it for a while now, and it’s still working with no problems. It restored a proper seal to the dust bin and functions exactly as expected. Great replacement part and a simple fix.

La pieza le quedó bien a mi aspiradora DYSON V10. No es exactamente igual, ni de la misma calidad que la pieza original que reemplacé, pero la original se quebró. El hule rojo puede durar mucho menos que la pieza original. Probaré mi aspiradora con la pieza instalada, esperando no se salga el polvo durante el uso por el sello (que veo no queda perfectamente alineado a la pieza cristalina o cilindro). El candadito que viene como regalo es útil para no tener que estar oprimiendo el botón para aspirar, que es una falla garrafal de diseño de esta aspiradora. El dedo y la mano se cansan ANTES de que termine uno de aspirar a causa de tener que estar oprimiendo el gatillo para que la aspiradora funcione. No tiene "LOCK". Esta pieza que viene como regalo puede ser la solución a una mano ampollada o adolorida.
