Quality feel. Sounds great
Does a good job going to "absolute zero". Quality build, knob has a nice resistance to it. Works great for my monitor sub under the desk, love it.

Noiseless Perfection
Using as a way to adjust the volume line out from a small guitar amp (Spark 2) into a wireless lavalier mic input. This works perfectly and adds not coloration or noise. It is built super well and has a premium feel of a higher priced item. Definitely recommended!

Add a volume control to your electric guitar
This is the only inline volume control I could find to add to my Traveler electric guitar. It works great. The control works smoothly and there is no noise when turning the knob. The Traveler is small guitar without a volume control. I just connected the Cubilux volume control to the output of the guitar with a short 1/4 inch patch cable and the volume control output to the Amp. Now I can lower or mute the guitar without leaving my chair. This is a nice add on to any guitar without a built in volume knob.

Does Not Fully Mute Signal as Advertised - Tried 2 Units.
Controller does not fully turn off. At full off, there's still a hum and the case itself is grounded, so if you touch it, you are now part of the circuit. Either bad design or sloppy quality control. Otherwise, fine but not being able to mute the sound as promised is a showstopper for me.

This is actually quite nice
I got this to serve as a volume control for my guitar amp set up, between the return of the fx loop and a modeler. Very nice modeler, newer tube amp combo, just doesn’t have a master volume when connected this way. i needed something quality and reluctantly tried this due to its low cost. I am absolutely blown away by how solid the construction is, the box and dial are very durable, the scroll of the volume wheel is precise and smooth, no noise, input and output jacks are solid, box has nice weight and very rugged. This worked for me very well to my surprise.

Did not work with guitar output
Very good construction. It works well at adjusting headphone audio. Stereo and mono. I was hoping to use this to adjust the output of a guitar pickup between guitar and amp. That is, adjust the instrument level output. Description shows a guitar in the uses. I tried many guitars and many cables. When the control is inline it will adjust the guitar output from zero, turning the knob to max provides about 1% of the output with the control removed from between guitar and amp. I was hoping to control the output of an acoustic guitar humbucker pickup that does not have its own level control. An adjustment of 0 to 1% does not work in this case. Does not work as a mic level output control either. Even the buzz when touching the open cable end at instrument is highly attunuated when control is inline and at max output.

Fried one after 9 hours
Used as a volume and to mute my bass during breaks on the other side of a zoom effects pedal and while turning didn’t hold up really disappointed

Perfect for my Valeton GP-50 guitar multi-effects pedal - an easy way to turn DOWN
I bought this for my guitar multi-effects pedal so I can easily control volume without having to menu-dive inside the pedal or use the app. There is no global volume control on my pedal - plus it's going into my guitar amp's effect's loop - which means I have no control over the volume because the effects loop is 100% all the time - so I tried this. Works like charm! I set all the patches in the effects pedal to the loudest volume I would need and then I can turn it all down from there to find the level I like. This item does NOT amplify - it allows you to control the volume that's already there.
