Fantastic bit of kit. Bought after returning home from a hospital stay having discovered I have a hypersensitivy to some environmental allergen. Since using it my breathing has improved and the air quality in our house is remaining more stable so it's smoothing the fluctuations. It sits in our standard sized living room and automatically runs faster or slower depending on the air quality it detects. I've been using it alongside a separate indoor air quality monitor (without pairing them) to see if they match up and they mostly do, in fact the LEVOIT purifier seems to respond quicker. Generally the air quality in our home is good but cooking/moving furniture throwing up dust/chemical use etc kicks it up a gear and within a week a lot has collected on the lint filter, which is super easy to clean. It handily tells you via the app (which is very straightforward to use) when the filter needs cleaning and eventually changing. It's low noise on it's lower settings and has a handy timer and sleep mode. The air around it is cool, almost like a gent fan and feels very fresh, you can actively see it sucking in dust and particles in the right light. It's compact so doesn't interfere with the room and is lightweight so easy to move around if needed. I'm so happy with this one I'll be buying another for upstairs in due course which is the highest praise I could give

I am captivated by this air purifier and the app it handily comes with. Tracking the quality of air in my living room whilst I’m at work is the highlight of my day, and has made me incredibly boring (or super interesting depending on how you feel about air purifiers). Both the app and the Google home feature is incredibly responsive (a second at most) and the fan works so hard and fast to keep the air quality up there. I have it on top speed once a day for an hour and it can be quite noisy- but it’s default/auto mode is super low noise. I can barely hear it working. We bought it as our rats have allergies and dust makes it worse, and they’re less sneezy and sound better at their vet appointments. The screen has a sensor which will turn the light off when it gets dark, which is just another cool feature I love. If I could afford to, I’d get one for the bedroom too. Best air purifier ever.

I had an early moment of wondering why I'd just spent £150 on a fan, but a couple of weeks in I'm delighted with this piece of kit. It is very solidly made, super quiet, and produces a delightful sensation of washed air after quite a short time. It's easy to pick up, and I use it in various different rooms as needed, for example to clear a slightly dusty bedroom after changing bedding. All the rooms in my house are quite small, and this model seems perfect for smaller rooms. The washable pre-filter is excellent, easy to remove and clean, and collects a surprising quantity of dust, lint etc before it has the chance to get into the expensive main filter. Never had an air purifier before, or considered I needed one, but I wouldn't be without this now.

This really is an awesome little bit of tech. My only annoyance with it is that it doesnt have a VOC sensor, so I have had to rely on amazons own air quality monitor and set up routines so that when it detects the voc level increase, it ramps up the purifier and back down again after. I would have preferred it had a laser rather than infra red PM sensor too. If it wasnt for this, this would have been 5 stars. I would have also spent more on the Vital 200s unit which is the bigger version of this, but for some strange reason its not available here in the UK, only the USA. I have also noticed that on amazon US they do 2 specialist filters for this unit, one for allergies and one for chemicals. neither of which are available in the uk. Overall im happy with this unit, it looks smart and does the job, but with only a few minor improvements this could be a big hitter to take on the big companies.

I bought this to try and improve my husband’s allergies (cats and we have two) and the amount of dust and cat hair floating around in the air. Positioned it in my living room where we all spend most of our time (including the cats). As far as aesthetics are concerned it’s not overly unsightly, it’s a large-ish white box but slim and reasonably easy to position so it’s not massively noticeable. It’s quiet most of the time and responsive to changes in air quality. When I’m cooking it automatically kicks up to clear the cooking smells, the same for steam ironing. It’s noisier on higher fan settings as expected, but this is usually short lived while it detects lower air quality. I hoovered out the filter and it had an impressive amount of dust and cat hair collected, that’s the first time I’ve hoovered it since I purchased the air purifier a couple of months ago. Previously when the sun was shining through my living room window I’d see dust and cat hair floating around, despite hoovering and dusting. The air purifier has impressively dealt with that issue. The app is easy to navigate and user friendly. I’ve set an automatic turn off time for the purifier and it’s looked after itself for the most part. As for hubs allergies, they’ve improved massively since purchase. He notices the difference if we’ve forgotten to turn it on, especially at the weekend when he’s home for more time. Overall it was a worthwhile purchase and does what it says it’ll do. The air in the house feels less stuffy and fresher. Negative: the only thing that I have found to be drawback is that it noticeably creates a draught and can cool the room down, especially on higher fan settings. This to me hasn’t negated the positives so I’m still impressed and happy with the purchase.

I bought this after some research. I have a log burner and I was concerned over the amount of dust and soot that appears after the burner has been lit. Well packaged. Quick delivery as always. Easy to set up out of the box. The plug is an English, solid adaptor, type and the Cable is about a meter long. Make sure you have a power source close to where you want to position the unit. The app is easy to use and offers real time info about the air quality. I don't bother with any of that as I use the auto function. It monitors the air and adjusts the fan accordingly. It seems fairly accurate as I can hear it increase the fan, with only a small time lag, when the burner door is opened when lit. Brilliant bit of kit and we'll worth the money. The app also tells you when you have to change the filter. I will update on the longevity of the filter in due course.

My sleep quality has improved drastically with this air purifier, I had another levoit many years ago but did not get around to getting another air purifier until recently, been using it for a few months and filters have plenty life left in them. Plenty quality of life features like being able to control the unit from your phone (and might I add very snappy and responsive at that), being able to toggle the lights on the unit at the press of a touch button on the unit or in the app and runs silently on the lowest mode/sleep mode. Seems very effective from the dust I have seen gathered in the filters and the reduced dust settling on furniture. Only thing I wish this unit had is a better sensor as it’s very sensitive and doesn’t monitor perfectly but it’s not a deal breaker for myself.

I recently moved to a new house. It's nice because I can leave the kitchen door open for my dogs to go into the garden as and when they please. The downside is that my new dog - Milo, 10 months old, had him from 7 months - is a bit of an explorer and digger and, being a cockapoo, gets his coat gets easily covered with soil and dust. Of course, he then brings it back into the house. The house gets dusty very quickly, despite sweeping or hoovering once or twice a day. Not only do I have a mild dust allergy (huzzah!), but I have learned there is a particular pollen nearby that triggers my hayfever rather badly too! I hoped this air filter would: 1. Reduce the dust build up. 2. Reduce pollen and other allergens in the air. 3. Improve air quality and help manage the "dog smell". And it does! I now have one on every floor of the house, where people/dogs pass. When the air is disturbed, the filter's sensor notices and it kicks in. I've dusted and hoovered since I've had them, and the dust build-up is nothing like it was before - there is almost none. My allergies are noticeably better. The filters look good and are small enough not to notice. On Moderate, Good, and Very Good the fan is very quiet. On Bad or Very Bad the fan is definitely audible and you can feel the air from the fan. The pre-filters have caught lots of dust and are easily cleared with a quick hoover. The controls are stylish and don't look out of place in the room. The recommended app is excellent, with lots of options for how the filters work. I have mine of auto-mode and there are other options available. Overall, very happy with them and don't hesitate recommending them. I can also recommend the "Like New" option from Amazon Warehouse - they're cheaper and you get unwanted returns, but they are as good-as-new.

I have been using it for a couple of months now it is really good. But i wish if it had like a diffuser in it to make the place smell good

It does it's job but it's kinda loud compared to others that can move twice the air volume but not as loud

I've had it a week and it's going well. I really don't get how it can be called quiet though. It could wake the dead on number 4 !
