had some doubts considering tape compared to glue as an adhesive but it’s like these mad apes said “okay we need to diversify our product line - and we’re going to do it by making our glue into a gelatin and then cut it into pieces and sell it as tape.” Transparent, as advertised, versatile, weight is consistent as described, texture is like of quality where you don’t think gorilla glue as strong as you think it is so you put a dollop on your finger and stick it together on your other finger as a kid and find out real quick why you don’t mess around with gorilla glue.

Tried previous adhesives before. They didn't work properly. Finally took the plunge and bought Gorilla Glue and more specifically, Gorilla Tape®. In less than one day, they worked better than the other adhesives I bought. It keeps the Ring camera I have mounted on our front door in place and I'm convinced the five, transparent squares I put on it will keep it there for a while. Thanks GG!

Not quite as durable as expected. Didn't hold as well as I would have preferred.

I had thought as well that the tape wasn’t going to hold my ring doorbell up and it did! I’ve made sure I’ve read the instructions before leaving feedback about the product and it worked. You have to press the tape against the item for about a minute ( I’ve done my hold for about 1- 1 1/2 minute long. ) just to see if it would fall off and it didn’t. It’s been up there now on my door for no more than a week. I’ve made sure to place the tape all over the back of my camera too so the holding of it would be even. I would most definitely buy this product again and I’m happy I’ve tested it out before place feedback.

Now I say all that above as someone who uses and loves other Gorilla Glue products and has talked about their wonderful adhesive properties to many other people. I used this in a PC build to attach my fan controller to the PC case, something I’ve done multiple times with competing products to various levels of success, with most failures happening after at least a year of use in a high temperature environment. In terms of success with this product, I had zero. The fan controller box, which weighs a few ounces at most was pressed up against the case firmly and, as soon as I moved my hand, it fell off. I cleaned both the spot in the case I wanted to attach the controller to and the controller itself with 99% isopropyl alcohol and Goo Gone followed by another cleaning with alcohol to ensure the surfaces were as clean as possible and attempted again. It held for however long it took me to reach to the floor to grab the side panel and look back, as the controller box was now hanging as if I had done nothing to it. I’m not sure what more I could have done but if you’re a PC builder looking for an adhesive pad to attach components to your case, look elsewhere.

I recently had high hopes for the Gorilla Tough Double-Sided Sticky Tabs, expecting them to live up to their name. My mission was simple: to rehang a small, lightweight wooden towel rail with three metal hooks on my bathroom wall. I had used 3M double-sided sticky tabs previously, and they held up remarkably well for over four years, only failing when I accidentally leaned on the rail too hard one day. So, I thought I'd give Gorilla Tough a try, hoping for similar success. To ensure the best results, I followed every instruction meticulously. I cleaned both the wall and the back of the towel rail thoroughly, let everything dry, and applied the sticky tabs carefully. After waiting the recommended 24 hours, I hung a single towel on the rail. But to my shock, just 30 minutes later, the entire rail came crashing down. The disappointment was real. I ended up going back to the tried-and-true 3M sticky tabs, repeating the cleaning process and applying the product. It’s now been over a month, and the towel rail is still securely in place. In comparison, Gorilla Tough failed to deliver the strength and reliability I expected. If you're looking for dependable adhesive power, I recommend sticking with the trusted 3M solution.

Excellent quality

Used these to replace the glue pads on some teflon furniture gliders. Really good sticking power. I don't think they're going to come off any time soon!
