I love this food chopper. II was surprised at how well it works and how easy it is to use. It is easy to clean too! It's the perfect size to store. I have a food chopper/processor, but it's bulky and so big that it makes it hard to put on my shelf to store. This little food chopper has replaced my old one! Good price. This is made for the serious chef. Has features that make this processor shine. Starting right out of the box, it is simple to put together not requiring any assembly manual. From the bottom up, a solid glass chopping dish with a decent capacity and a non slip bottom ring that can be taken off to wash very easily and a couple of ears at the top to move it easily after using. The top, while plastic looks well made and incorporates a rubber seal that can also be easily removed for washing with ears that make it placing on the base a no brainer. Lastly the motor., a 2 speed plastic encased light but powerful motor that when placed on the blades lines up very easily and a safety feature that requires you to press down on the unit while using to prevent a kitchen disaster and no accidents. While I wish the 3 foot cord was a little longer, this init fits the bill and the staggered 4 blade chopper makes easy work out of your favorite salsa, making cashew butter or just chopping large amounts of garlic. Fornthebprice this is an absolute winner without the price or the weight of a traditional heavy base food processor. Word to the wise , be careful not to drop the motor as I don't think it would survive. Happy cooking

I am very impressed with this food processor. I purchased it as a replacement for a mini plastic door chopper that was extremely loud and finally broke. I used it primarily for making crumb crusts for pies. The La Reveuse is larger, but the fact that it has 4 blades, it can chop (cookies) quickly and with minimal vibration or noise. I used it to mix in the melted butter so that the crust was ready to press into my pie pans. After washing it out I also used it for chopping onions and peppers, then garlic cloves and mushrooms for a meat sauce. I will be using this often, as it made the task almost effortless. I have grandchildren who don't like to see their vegetables, so this makes it easy to chop things small enough to allow me to cook with vegetables they would otherwise not eat. It is easy to clean. The one problem people have is lining up the cutting wheel with the motor assembly. Most of the time this was not an issue. One time I had to manually turn the cutting wheel stem a few degree to line it up with the receiving hole in the motor assembly. Use your eyes. It is to be expected that this will happen from time to time. Not a deal killer. My old one also occasionally had hiccups getting it lined up properly. In this case, however, it is obvious to me how to "fix." I do love that it is a nice sturdy glass bowl. It feels high quality. Going forward I'll be looking into other appliances made by La Reveuse.

I agree with other reviewers that this food processor is an amazing tool. I have other blenders and processors that are sitting idle on the shelf since I purchased the La Reveuse. But I also agree with other reviewers that engaging the motor on the blade spindle is tricky. To me, it's like plugging in a USB cable--at least 50% of the time you get it wrong. I'm not convinced it's as simple as the motor has to face the right way in the lid---sometimes I realign multiple times before I get it to work. I would like to see the company revisit the design and try to improve the usability. If a new model works better, I would consider buying another. Better yet: issue a retrofit!

Excellent product for the price. I purchased this to use when I do not need my 14 cup food processor with a feeder and the amount is too large for my 2 cup food processor. It chops very well and is easy to store since there is no large base. I love the glass container and everything goes right into the dishwasher. The blade seems a little cheap so I'm not sure how long it will last, but it works great for now.

This unit works exceptionally well. I love using it. It is so easy to use and clean. Chops and purées things perfectly. It is so much easier to use compared to my really expensive food processor. It does the job so quickly and effortlessly. It has a great capacity. I like that you can see the food as it chops or purées it. Love the 7 cup capacity. It’s a keeper!

Quelle belle petite machine. Un petit robot culinaire très pratique et prend peu de place. Un beau format de 7 tasses puissant. Ça se lave comme un charme. Le moteur s'insère facilement sur le dessus mais faut aligner le bout mélatique avec le moteur. À force de l'utiliser on apprend à le manipuler avec aisance. Je ne regrette en rien mon achat. Fait de la viande hachée aisément et fait de belles purées de courge, de carottes et plus encore selon l'utilisation que vous en faites.

We attempt to make all our meals from “scratch “. As my wife and I age we are less inclined to chop finely 8 cups of carrots for soup, countless onions and loads of garlic. We have limited counter space and don’t want to be lifting heavy equipment. After research we settled on the La Reveuse food processor . It is moderately powerful, not heavy and easy to clean as it has a large glass processing bowl . The blades are very sharp and care in use and cleaning must be followed. It day great job in chopping the vegetables. I made carrot soup and it was a breeze! The only improvement I would like to see is the top plastic housing for the motor which is also an interface for the glass processing bowl be moulded in such a manner as to be lockable down to the large glass bowl after it is loaded and the cutting blades in place. My vision is similar to the mixing bowl attaching to the base of a stand mixer. It would encase the blades and make it safer to use in a busy kitchen especially with grandchildren around. My wife and I are happy with the purchase. UP-Date March 1,2026 My blade assembly broke in December 2025 after less than two years of use. Searched Amazon and found a four bladed stainless steel unit with no plastic parts. I ordered it and installed it easily. My food processor is now working again! I still highly recommend it.

Good for the price!. So far works well. Although the screw on the bottom of the glass container( on the outside) has gotten some rust. .the plastic on the blade stick is cheap quality. I have chopped fruits, cheese and vegetables. No problem so far.. the whisk disc comes in handy as well. Use it with a pulse motion and you are good to go.
