DEWALT FLEXVOLT 60V MAX* Blower, Handheld, Tool Only (DCBL770B)

The blower works great. Powerful and forceful. Great air flow and much quieter than other brands. The battery lasts a long time and allows me to blow out the garage, driveway, sidewalks and still have battery life left. Very happy with the product.

THE DEWALT FLEXVOLT 60 VOLT MAX BLOWER...is a great blower, I have had it for just a few months and it serves my purpose more then adequate. My last blower I had was a gas and it was for commercial use and their is no comparison between gas and battery, so if you have a really large piece of property or a few acre's then you will probably want gas. but if you are live in a residential the DEWALT is perfect, or your a contractor and need one for the job its perfect for that also, or if you don't much care for extension cords or the storage of gas then you will love it.But the main reason I decided to write this review was because the service I had, so here is my story. So the reason I bought this product was because after all the research I did on blowers I figure it was a toss up with the top two products out there, but since most my battery powered tools I owned were DEWALT, and I have been very happy with them, I decided to go with the brand that has never steered me wrong!So I bought this tool November 2020, I probably used the blower every other week and just a few months later I went to use the blower and the battery was dead, it would not charge and the cost of a new battery was over atleast $200. I tried to return it through Amazon but the warranty was no longer valid as of Jan 31, 2021, I was one week to late. So I looked further from who I bought it from on Amazon it read CPO Outlets, so I called them and they told me it was under warranty and I could Print out a return postage on their web site and send it in or stop on by for them to look at the blower. Since I was lucky enough to live with in 45 minutes away, I decided to drive to the company. Well as I pulled up to the address I saw a good size DEWALT store, I took my Blower inside for them to look at and offered to give them my information from the sight and they told me they didn't need it, they checked the blower out and the battery to see where the problem was coming from, and determined that the battery was bad and took my address and said I would receive one in the mail shortly. Before I left I ask them how can you just give me a $200. battery and not ask any questions, they told me the serial numbers and markings on each component lets them know what year and month each was made, they then told me the Blower had a 1 year warranty and the Battery had a 3 year !! I just received my battery today which is Feb 14, 2021, just a week after my visit. THATS AWESOME SERVICE!!!! As you can see from my other reviews I have almost every Dewalt cordless product and a few corded ones as well.The blower works great. Awesome power. It blows anything away.I used to have the slightly lower spec 60V version. But when this came out I replaced it. And I wasn't disappointed.Relatively light (depending on battery used) and lasts on a single charge for every job I have done so far.Have completed renovated 2 houses and onto number 3. The backyards often require a lot of clearing and landscaping. This was a useful addition to my tool collection.Great work dewalt.

This is an excellent and powerful blower but the battery performance is very short. I bought the one with included battery and for a quick cleanup it’s great but for anything more than about 15-minutes you need more batteries which are very expensive. I love the blower but I can’t replace my gas blower due simply to how fast the battery runs out. Excellent for small jobs, not great for anyone needing to use it for extended cleanup!

The main reason of purchasing this cordless blower was to replace my gas blowers that I have difficult time starting them whenever I have to use them. I don’t have to go through that pain anymore. No more fingers due to pulling of the strings and missed time doing the task on time.The cost is a little bit high specially the battery was not included and I have to purchase batteries separately because I misunderstood the feature that was on the print on the box showing “20/60V compatible”. And I have a lot of 20V batteries, but then when I tried to put any of them they will not fit.I tried to contact the seller and the manufacturer but no luck. It took Amazon Customer Representative action before the seller and manufacturer contacted me for a simple verification of the feature that I misunderstood. That is not acceptable. Amazon has to mediate for a customer issue on the product is really annoying.At any rate, I found out the 20/60V flex is backward compatible not the blower. I didn’t have a choice but to purchase the 20/60 flex batteries, which us another misleading selling point. It’s states it last for 45 min of use if fully charged but when I used it it lasted only 15min on high blower output.The blower itself performs great and was very satisfied, the noise is as advertised, well below the threshold of 85 db of continued use, and more than adequate to blow all the leaf or debris in my yard. I can safely say this blower is capable and comparable to gas blower of its size. But when the cost battery is added then that is another story.
