Skechers Blaine - Orsen Mens Chelsea Boots In Black. Made From Oiled Leather. Cambrelle Lining. Rubber Sole. Review: Size was just right. Comfortable for someone on his feet all day long (middle school teacher). They seem waterproof when walking around and over puddles. They're easy to put on and take off. Review: Really liked the boot; seemed handsome and well made. However, I ordered my usual size (8) and found them to be extremely tight all around - and way tighter than I can imagine them stretching to a comfortable fit (as some here wrote they had experienced). I wasn't willing to risk the initial discomfort and possible neuroma to find out. Had to return. The half size up isn't available, and imagined the full size up would be too long - wondering if anyone has tried a full size up from their usual.

First of all, I work in an emergency service, however past few weeks I have been confined to administrative work but once in a while I find myself in the field. I wanted a replacement for my timberlands, they are fine but they generally develop leaks after 1.5 year of use. These new shoes at first were tight at the top of my feet, but after a full day of use they broke in. They are slightly heavier than I was expecting, not saying they are heavy. Also I find the bottom a bit rigid, not as flexible. I dont think they will be comfortable after a full day of walking, not like my tims. But generally for my office work and once in a while going in the field. They are fine. And other persons have been commenting on the chelsea look. Make sure you break the shoe in before you give up.

I have wider feet and usually get a EE. So maybe the issues with the break in period are due to that. I must say that now I love these shoes and they are very comfortable now that they are broken in. It took about a month for the brake in period and they caused a lot of foot pain until then. The leather seam that goes across the top of the foot would cut off circulation and was not very comfortable. I would buy another pair if I thought I could handle the break in period again.

After I wore these boots for a while I noticed that one was significantly bigger than the other, the right bigger than the left. It's an odd pair. I have another pair in brown that were just fine. I'm trying to overcome it with insoles but it's a pain in the butt. :-( I'm sure it's to late to exchange for another pair.
