I used these on wet softwood, both across and along the grain; they cut quickly with no clogging. Have not tried on hardwood.

These are great chains, I use them on my stihl chainsaw. I’m not a professional, I just use my chainsaw to process a bit of wood for wood turning and a bit of firewood and these chains are great. I usually take a spare with me just in case I make a mistake and dull the chain the second chain gives me the ability to just quickly swap to a fresh chain. Great value great quality.

Good product at great prices

I was initially hesitant to purchase these chains as a replacement for my Stihl original, especially given the significantly lower price! With two chains costing less than a single original, my expectations were modest at best. I was pleasantly surprised by the performance. The chains fit perfectly onto my chainsaw and ran smoothly. Despite my initial reservations, they proved to be of surprisingly good. To test them properly, I tackled several 24" Ash logs—a demanding job for any chain (only a 16" bar -15" effective length). The chain handled it effortlessly, maintaining sharpness throughout & without any noticeable stretching.. Exceeded my expectations.

I have a Sthil MS212 and these chains so far are just as good as the Sthil chain. Stays sharper for longer than the Oregon chains i had been buying. Impressed so far, one days use.
