My husband has a small workshop in a commercial warehouse district where he keeps his motorcycles, a car, work tools, etc. It has an office and a bathroom that, quite frankly, looks and functions like something you’d find in an old decrepit gas station—think crappy sink, chipped porcelain toilet, no hot water, and a general air of “don’t touch anything.” Needless to say, I avoided it whenever I was there. For years, I tried convincing him to turn part of the workshop space into a small gym, but the idea never really clicked - until this rainfall shower system came along. Now, he’s fully on board! He's knocked out the wall between the office and bathroom, and has turned it into a spacious spa-like retreat. Another room nearby will house our gym stuff. Honestly, the bathroom is going to be bigger (and nicer!) than our primary one at home - I’m half-joking about moving into the workshop full-time. I chose the black shower system because it perfectly complements the industrial vibe of his workshop which has a loft, commercial doors, pale gray walls, concrete floors, and plenty of black tool chests. The sleek matte black finish and angular design of the shower system fits the look, though it was the features that really sold me - the large rainfall shower head, multiple jets for a spa experience, and a handheld spray for versatility. While I can’t yet speak to longevity, the quality of construction and the features and design were the right choice for our industrial-style gym. Yes, some of the smaller plastic parts could be problematic long-term - but this seems to be the case with most brands nowadays in most price point categories, unless of course, you're investing in something from Waterworks where just the shower head alone is $1,000+. If you’re looking to elevate a space and make a statement like we were, this shower system is a stylish and functional way to do it!
