Simple Fix
I purchased this to replace a remote that used a button battery and had stopped working. Replacing the button battery was such a hassle! This remote uses two AAA batteries which are simple to use. The batteries are not included, but I keep some handy anyway. Put the batteries in and voila! The remote worked! The price was right and all is well.

Prefect Replacement Remote
I just tossed a couple of AAA batteries in it, pointed it at the Sound Bar and changed the volume as desired. No programming needed. Perfect replacement.

Best replacement remote. Gone are the circle battery
I am very satisfied with this replacement remote for my 2.1 Samsung sound bar and sub system. I lost my original remote and tried another replacement brand that looked just like my original remote but it only worked for one day. ***This one works and feels great and the BEST PART of this replacement remote is the battery is not the circle type but 2 AAA batteries! A Perfect Replacement
Works perfectly. Our old remote took a button battery and this one takes two AAA batteries. Put the batteries in the remote and it worked right away. No need for any programming or connecting the remote to the sound bar. All the controls work just is great as the original factory remote did. My only regret is waiting so long to get a replacement. I was skeptical of how it would work given the low price, but it is just as good. If not, even better than our original.
