Upgrade Wireless Double Din Car Stereo with Carplay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, 4-Channel RCA, High Power, 2 Subwoofer Ports, 7" HD Capacitive Touchscreen Car Radio, Backup Camera, Audio Receiver

I installed this unit on a 2016 Honda CR-V without navigation (note, you'll need to buy a wiring harness and dash trim kit but that would be true of the most expensive head unit on the market). The process was as easy as possible and the instructions were clear. I had previously upgraded my stock speakers but the settings on the factory head unit still made them sound terrible. This was my first head unit install in years so I was pretty much starting from scratch. The whole thing took about 30 minutes once I had the harness wired up. Once I installed the unit, I adjusted the EQ (which was impossible in the stock unit) and the speakers came alive. I never write reviews but as long as this thing lasts a few years, I will consider this an excellent purchase. Pros: - Exceptional value (assuming it lasts for at least a few years): This unit performs exactly as expected. I was worried about screen lag and limited functionality but I'm shocked at its features for the price. It feels very light compared to some electronics I've used in the past but I'm not totally sure that's a strong indicator of quality. - Screen responsiveness: This was a major concern of mine. I assumed that the screen would be pretty terrible given the price but I was willing to accept that as a tradeoff for a non-name-brand unit. I was pleasantly surprised that my device is incredibly responsive. I don't notice any lag whatsoever once things are all loaded up. - Customizability/Software updates: Once you get the unit and provide proof of purchase, customer service provides free software updates and custom car logos so your launch screen has a more factory-feel. - Sound: The ability to control the EQ frequencies is a game-changer for my vehicle. The stock head unit and speakers sounded terrible. After a cheap speaker upgrade, it still sounded awful. Worse, actually. Once I installed this new head unit, I was able to deliver the right frequencies to the speakers to get way better sound out of them. - Wireless Carplay: I synced my phone and had carplay running in minutes. I had never used carplay before and thought it would be kinda worthless because I can just use my phone in "car mode". I was seriously wrong. Carplay alone is worth the upgrade to this system. - Customer service: So far, their customer service has been very responsive via email. Sending me software updates and new screen savers - Physical buttons/knobs: One of the main reasons I ended up with this particular unit was because I like the volume knob. I think about trying to operate a touch screen in the winter with gloves on or quickly turn down the volume because a kid is yammering at me from the back seat…I don't want to have to use a touch screen for that personally. Cons - iPhone screen mirroring: I have yet to figure out a way for me to mirror my iPhone. It's not something I intend to use often but it would be nice to have.

I installed the JOY-W006 in my 1999 Ford F-350 Superduty in September 2026 replacing the factory unit. Installation was easy but did require some trimming of the plastic lips on the top and bottom of the dash interior where the unit slides in. The dash did not need to be removed to do the trimming. I did not have to trim the sides. I used the supplied metal side mounting brackets and had to trim them down using a cutting disc and smoothing them out on a grinder so they fit nicely and prevent the stereo from being pushed into the dash cavity. The unit fits snugly and doesn't move. However, if necessary, I can drill holes in the mounting brackets and screw them into the dash for additional retention. I used a harness adapter (purchased separately) to make the connections from the vehicle wiring to the stereo connectors. I soldered them and used heat shrink for protection. It was easy to do at the bench and then just plug the connectors into the factory connection and to the stereo connections. The wiring color coding on the adapter and supplied stereo connections were identical. Lastly, I connected the rear view camera for use as a backup camera. I trimmed the bottom of the facia ring to get it as flush as possible with my dash. It turned out well and looks acceptable. Next I installed a battery (not supplied) in the remote and powered up the stereo and tested everything. I selected Car Play and it paired to my phone using Bluetooth. It performed flawlessly. Afterwards I sent an email to the manufacturer requesting the firmware update, a custom boot logo and wallpaper. They responded quickly and within 24 hours I had the necessary file to do the updates. I decompressed (unzipped) the file and copied it to a thumb drive and followed their instructions explicitly (important to do correctly or you could brick your unit) for an easy update. I do not have amplifiers or video player so those connections were not used. My steering wheel is plain and does not have any controls on it so I can't comment on that feature. The sound is great compared to the factory unit. It adds a modern touch to an older vehicle. The touch screen is responsive and there are several features you can customize. I especially like the volume knob as it is easy to adjust while driving. I've had challenges with touch screen only controls trying to poke a tiny icon while driving. Having the remote is also a plus with all the functions being button operated right at your fingertips. Overall this is one of the easier installs I have done. The result exceeded my expectations for both ease of installation and operation. The customer service, communication and support was fast and courteous. I recommend this car stereo if you are looking to modernize an older vehicle to be able to have in-dash navigation, phone, music and other amenities that were never offered when it was produced.

This unit was very easy to install when paired with the correct “Metra” harness for my vehicle. After messaging their tech support, the seller responded with the most recent update, which also contained the custom boot-logos and wallpapers I sent them. This tech support took less than 24 hours from the time I emailed to the time they sent me the firmware update! I was able to get the update installed within 5 minutes, and the boot-logo and wallpapers work perfectly! I previously had a “podofo” brand unit in my old vehicle, and this “Sjoybring” unit is FAR superior! My phone instantly connects, and the wireless CarPlay is streaming music and maps before my vehicle is fully turned on! This unit does not drop CarPlay or Bluetooth connection, or freeze like the “podofo” I had previously! I’m very satisfied with this unit, and the customer service! This unit is actually better than the “Sony” brand CarPlay unit I had a few years ago, for 1/10th of the price! I have installed at least 10 different wireless CarPlay units from several different name-brand manufacturers (Sony, Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer), and this one is more responsive than some of the $800-$1000 devices I have used! I would HIGHLY recommend this unit, especially with the well-made volume knob and physical skip/reverse buttons! Sound quality is better than factory stereo through the factory harness, and has plenty enough power to drive speakers on its own. I did test the pre-amp RCA connections with a spare 4 channel amp, and the sound quality is on-par with expensive brand name units. Sometimes these non-brand-name products hit their mark perfectly! Don’t overpay for a brand-name unit!

I’m very impressed this far with this unit. It does just about everything I need it to do and dare I say everything and maybe more than my factory Chevy unit I have in another car. This went into a 2000 Jeep Cherokee and for that vintage of a vehicle, it really brings new technology to an older vehicle. Functions great out of the box. CarPlay works as it should and connects very fast. I had read about not wasting money on these types of head units, why, for the price, on lightning deal, what more can you really ask for. Customer service has been on point. You have to keep in mind the time difference so it will take a day or two at most to get everything. That should be understood. Got the MCU upgraded and with my choice of load screen and wallpaper. I wish you had the ability to diy that but, for me, it’s a one time deal and I don’t see me changing that. Looks great. Could I have went and purchased a $1000.00 head unit with a more known brand? Sure. But for a little more than a tenth of the cost? No way. Now, don’t get me wrong, this may not last for years and years but I don’t expect it to and if it does - bonus points. The installation was a breeze if you have any skill in understanding and vehicle wiring. The screen is gast and responsive. I installed the front and rear cameras and the picture is great. The cameras are cheap but give a great picture and capture angle. I appreciate them being cheap because when they inevitably get damaged (they are on a Jeep and a little exposed) they will be easy and cheap to replace. Let’s call them consumable parts for my use. If in doubt, do it. I think you’ll be impressed with what you get for the money. When this one serves its purpose I will be looking at their more higher end stuff that they offer. I look forward to seeing the difference.

Functionality: 5/5 Stars The radio itself worked right away and delivers exactly what it promises. The backup camera works perfectly, sound quality is great, wireless CarPlay is super convenient, and we were able to program the steering wheel buttons and get them all working easily. I give the radio 5 stars for functionality without a doubt. Installation Experience: 3.5/5 Stars Overall, the install took about 4-5 hours, including both the radio and the backup camera. SJoyBring does their best to make installation as straightforward as they can, the instructions are very clear, and the radio itself was very easy to wire. We purchased an install kit with harnesses that definitely sped up the process. That being said, the wiring can be a little tedious. You just need a wire manual for your truck/the harness telling you what each color does, as well as the manual for the new radio, and you have to match them by function. Do NOT always just match by color, though many do match color for color. With the variation of cars and the number of wires you are dealing with, it will always be overwhelming to some. Because our F-150 was a Lariat, it has a woofer and subwoofer. We tied these into the "power on antenna/amplifier" wire, which meant we had to connect 4 wires into one crimp connection (two on each side: radio wire + woofer + subwoofer + truck harness wire). The biggest issue with the installation—and the reason it doesn't get 5 stars—was that the backup camera cord wasn't long enough, which was a huge pain. I was surprised because I'm pretty sure the F-150 is the most sold vehicle in America. We had to cut the yellow RCA connector off and solder in an extension wire to make it reach from the back of the truck to the radio. This took a while of my time because the backup camera has like 26ga copper strand wire that is TINY and breaks very easily. We were lucky I had extra wire and a soldering iron on hand, and we eventually got it all done. For context, this is the second of these radios I have installed; the one I did on my 2004 Chevy Colorado reached the radio perfectly and was a breeze. It's a great unit, just be prepared to extend the camera wire if you are putting it in a longer truck. I also want to add that the company has FANTASTIC customer support!

I have had this radio a little over a week. While this Radio is very good for the price, it does not fit my vehicle without adjustments. I will be returning it, but do your research. The screen is a good size and very responsive. The Wireless carplay connects almost immediately when you first start your car. Sound is terrific. Overall it is a great radio. Depending on your make and model you may need to buy an adapter to retain more of your factory features. You will also need to buy your car’s specific harness and possibly trim pieces. These add-ons are pretty standard for a universal radio. However, aside from having to cut trim in my Jeep, I would have kept this radio. Additionally the instructions come with a youtube link rather than cramming information into a tiny booklet. All in all this is definitely worth the money, I just wish it had fit.

There’s a few things with this. First and foremost I chose to install this by soldering and heat shrinking every wire rather than doing a “good enough” easy approach. I highly recommend spending the extra time and energy on this. You’re messing with wiring in your vehicle. Spend the extra half hour on it. This would solve quite a few issues I’ve seen presented in other reviews. However! This radio doesn’t seem to get the memo about automatic shut off even though it was wired properly. The radio would stay on after the car was off. There’s a few solutions for this. You can cap off and not use the yellow connection at all however any settings you may have set will reset every time you turn your car on. My fix it has just been disconnecting Bluetooth from my device and strictly using this as a CarPlay via cord. You have to remember to turn it off every time, but it works. May look into installing a trigger switch or something for long term but it is what it is right now. The rear camera quality is shockingly decent for the price of this product, touch screen works great but we’ll see how it holds up during a Missouri summer. It lagged initially with Bluetooth, but with the charging cord and aux cord methods is MUCH more responsive. Overall it’s definitely a budget product but with a little fiddling is just fine. Don’t think you’re going to rely on Bluetooth for this though.

I had an older version of a radio head unit from this manufacturer (2023-ish), and I was very glad to see that this purchase meant I didn't have to rewire my harness. The only change was the plug for the steering wheel/backup camera; it's a slightly different size, but for my 2011 Chevy Silverado, I don't have steering wheel option.s, so rewiring the camera wire wasn't difficult. So if you have an older unit and want to upgrade and stick with the same manufacturer, then this is a great option. If this is a new unit for your vehicle, I found the manual was easy to understand and map out the connections between their harness and the adapting harness I had to get for my vehicle. Remember, folks especially as I've been doing my own car audio since the 90s, you have to get a harness adapter for your vehicle, and best to get the proper car unit DIN installation kit. Not that people steal head units anymore these day,s but it keeps it secure after you reinstall all your paneling. Not to mention the upgrade from straight Bluetooth, where I used to experience lag the move to using Apple CarPlay or whatever the Android version is - it's a blessing. I actually like using Google Maps on the Unit rather than on my phone. Another plus with CarPlay, I think the UI and touchscreen reactiveness make it a lot easier to navigate with and change from song to song. I found that with the old unit relying 100% on the remote, it comes with switching songs or pausing the songs. Oh, speaking of volume and pausing the songs. This Unit has a knob, which, to be honest, is one of the things I would always want on a head unit. Other things that come with this unit are nice again if you're upgrading. The remote uses the same RF frequencies as the older unit, so I have a spare now if I ever lose the current one. The microphone is on the head unit and is more reactive to your speaking when On Speaker with a call or using Voice to Text, BUT I do like that they include a 3mm microphone with the unit - def worth installing if you've already got your dash taken apart. It refrains from awkward situations on conference calls when the other person says I can't hear you sounds like you're in a cave. I've attached pictures of the various menus, and if you're not all that into the CarPlay, the User Interface menus are still easy to use and navigate through. The setup menus are very detailed. If you have any questions, the Support Team for the unit is amazing and has a pretty good turnaround time.

Once connected with correct wire harness (required a bit of research for 2007 Tiida) it was a simple matter to install & worked with no modifications. Only shortcoming were the fixing brackets-were not suitable so used the ones from the old original car stereo. Built-in mike works fine. After-sales support excellent, was able to change logo & wallpaper to the car brand I wanted with a simple download sent by email.
