Beautiful frying pan
I have recently been adding some cast iron pans to my collection of cooking pots. I have learned the ones with an enameled inside are much easier to clean. I found a really firm nylon spatula that gets the crispy bits off the inside of the pan so it doesn't stay stuck to the pan while it cooks too. I have learned to use a much lower heat setting for cooking. If the recipe says to cook on medium high I set the heat for medium and watch the cooking carefully so I can turn it down if the crispies start turning too brown. I am very pleased with the quality of this pan. It is quite heavy and the instructions said not to slide it across the surface of an induction heat cook top, so I try to lift it. The handle gets hot and after surprising myself by grabbing a hot handle I got a silicone handle cover to protect my hand. The price is very good compared to other brands. I have a 10" glass lid I got to use with a different pan and it fits this pan well.

Improves cooking and eating experience and easier than old cast iron
I purchased this after getting a CrockPot baking pan in the same enameled cast iron at TJ Maxx. Having used a variety of cookware in the past, I knew I didn't have the patience for actual cast iron anymore but was wanting to move away from the aluminum skillets I had. It's not an exaggeration to say that this skillet (also got a 3 QT pot) has significantly improved the cooking experience and makes better food. It has all of the nice qualities of cast iron (like retaining heat) but is much easier to clean. The CrockPot brand is less expensive than others and very nice. As others have noted, it is heavy and does stain a bit even if you clean very well. I'm fine with both of those things.

Easy clean
As a long-time southern cook, I found it hard to give up my old-style Lodge cast iron. This, however, sold me: it has the weight of cast iron (for example, great oven cornbread), but none of the fussiness. I'm quite sure my East Texas ancestors will forgive me for making the switch

Terrible quality, ruined my “compatible” stove, 0 customer service
If I could give minus stars I would. I bought a whole variety of their cast iron cookware for our brand new induction stove - which they say they’re compatible for. After two uses the bottom of the pan had chipped in three areas and burned into my stove. I’m not new to enameled cast iron. I know how to store them, care for them, and handle them They don’t have customer service. Their warranty claims are a lie. Do not buy from them. You cannot get them on the phone. I receive a pathetic email three weeks later referring me to their manufacturer??? They’ve done nothing to resolve this issue. I’m left with a broken stove. Amazon gave me the money back thankfully. DON’t buy from this brand.

All in all, very pleased
Bought this to replace my old cast iron pan that had started to flake on the outside. I decided not to use bare cast iron anymore as I’ve had such good luck with the enamel version in my various Dutch ovens. I won’t use it on top of the stove as I have good oxo non stick pans for eggs, etc. I will mainly use this new one for roasting chicken and turkey thighs, just like with the old one. I did do a large chicken breast the other day and it came out great. After I took the meat and drippings out, I let it cool completely and then wiped the pan. There were a few minor bits stuck on but when I washed it, they came right off in hot, soapy water. Due to the extra handle , it does weigh slightly more than my old one but the handle compensates for the weight. The skin didn’t get quite as brown as with the old one but I had it on 350. With thighs, I normally set it on 365 for a shorter cook time so I’ll just have to see.

Love it BUT.
Great for cooking. I wish I knew how to stop the bottom from sticking though. It’s a little difficult to clean because you can’t use a scrapper or any type of metal on it. Instructions say to stick to silicone or soft spatulas/spoons. Very durable though. The color is perfect. It’s fairly heavy. 4/5 stars.

Enameld cast iron skillet, so amazing!
I love this skillet! I treat it like my baby, & always hand wash it right away & dry it as well. Doing this, keeps it nice for later. I know they tell you NOT to ever wash cast iron, but I am from a time when my mom taught me to do as she said, so that is what I do, & just keep them washed & ready to go. You cannot go wrong if you have never had one, & if you have used cast iron before, this one tops them all because of the coating it has inside & out. It is light weight, durable in every way & cooks quite well! It is so easy to use & maintain too. It is also so versatile, it is unbelievable.

Nice skillet arrived damaged
The skillet is right size, right weight, with a nice red and white porcelain enamel finish. Exactly what I wanted except that it arrived with a flaw. There is a 1/4" by 1/2" spot of the red enamel finish chipped off the handle. See image. I did not think it was very well packed for shipment and sure enough upon further inspection I found the enamel chip inside the shipping box. It's serviceable and I won't return it but three stars is best I can do for this review.

Surprisingly good value
As this was relatively inexpensive for an enameled cast iron skillet, I have been pleasantly surprised at its durability. I do use and clean it correctly, without harsh chemicals or abrasives. It performs exceedingly well for its price. I've given it 5 stars because I can't fault it.

Received a different one, don’t know if it’s duplicate or Original
The one shown in the picture has a helper handle also, but the one I received doesn’t have helper handle, as the pan is heavy it’s difficult to use without a helper handle, I think I have received a duplicate one, not the original pan

Great everyday pan for 1
A cute little pan for everyday use that I snagged at a deal for just $26. Great to make egg fries, roast potatoes, sautéed mushrooms. Super easy to clean! The enamel doesn’t stain and the outer color is lovely too!

Great everyday cookware
If you want the heat capacity of cast iron, but don't want to be bothered with caring for the pans' seasoning, enamel coated cast iron is a godsend! Like several people here, I did receive a damaged pan when I ordered the 10". It looked like the pan had been dropped in the warehouse and packed up for my order anyways. I returned it to Amazon, who shipped me out a replacement same day as I filed for a return, and before they'd gotten the damaged unit back. Taped the original box back up, printed out the shipping label Amazon emailed me, slapped it on, dropped it in the mail. Little hassle, and only a little delay. I've been using these for about a year now, as everyday cookware. Overall, these are great everyday pans. You need to take a bit of care with these, as the enamel isn't indestructible, and it WILL lightly scratch and darken with use - but that's all enameled cast iron, not just this pan. These take less maintenance than the pure cast iron cookware I've used in the past. Try not to burn food into the enamel. Still, you CAN bleach the enamel periodically overnight with a mild solution if a mild coloration patina build over time isn't to your liking ( probably once every 6-12 months if you require them to be returned to their original condition; I don't ). Note that this is coloring only - you can run your fingers over the enamel and it feels perfectly smooth; no material build up of any kind. The 8" is what I use for one person breakfast fries, the 10" for a general cooking use, and the deep lidded saute pan with lid makes for great one pan meals you can start on the stove top, and finish in the oven. Silicone handle and knob covers are definitely worth picking up to go with these. The 10" pans work GREAT as pie pans, and the 8" is great for making "skillet cookies", so they can do double duty as bakeware. You can pay 100s of dollars for pieces by Le Creuset - and they undeniably are wonderful pieces of cookware - but for the money, these are good, solid, everyday use enamel coated cast iron cookware.
