Solubloc 10 is a great replacement for a Desjoyaux P18 pump.

The Solubloc 10 pump is only compatible with Desjoyauxmodels after 1995 and the Desjoyaux P18 with the backflow on the right (when looking at the pump from behind, the backflow output should be on the right hand side).Replacement is not possible for Desjoyaux models before 1995, with the backflow on the left hand side (if, when looking at the pump from behind, the backflow output is on the left hand side, it is not compatible).

The Solubloc 10 (0.4 kW) filtration pump is equipped with a motor that is resistant to high temperatures (up to 65°C). Conventional pool filter pumps are equipped with motors designed to work in the range of 35 to 40°C. The motor has been studied and designed to withstand very high ambient temperatures, especially in the case when it is buried or in filtration blocks (which are not fully or are poorly ventilated), and exposed to the sun during summer months.

The Solubloc pump is a mono-phase and single speed pump, compatible with Desjoyaux filtration blocks in which it may be installed in place of the original filter.
