This was a recommendation from blogger for a decent tarantula enclosure. It really is as pictured and described. The box arrived in good condition and took drilling and soldering iron easily to make holes for ventilation. It feels a bit fragile (like it would not take too much to crack and break- don’t drop it!) and could be scratched easily. But- it’s a good deal for the price point, clear, easy to modify and has a snug lid (once you play with it a bit - before placing my old worlds in)- and I will likely buy another for my juvenile tarantulas.

I've ordered a couple of these to use as DIY tarantula enclosures, which they work quite well for after using a dremel to make ventilation holes. I've ordered several brands of acrylic display cases from Amazon and it's about 50/50 whether or not they'll arrive in one piece. The second one of these I ordered came shattered on one corner and I marked it for return, as I usually do. Instead of making me go through that mess, the seller contacted me directly and let me know that they were shipping me a new one and I could just toss the broken one. I order quite a bit through Amazon and you don't often see sellers go out of their watly like that. Good product/good service. Would purchase again.

I want to display the collars, leashes, etc. from my late pets. I've been searching for just the right thing. I kept finding display cases that had a base and a top. That seemed too unstable. When I found this clear box with a lid, I was thrilled! It arrived and it's perfect. It was packed well and arrived quickly. The item description said something about using it as a fish tank. I don't think it's sturdy enough for that, but it's ideal for my needs.

I used it to prevent dust and display a working vintage clock movement. It had a small 1" scratch on the bottom, not noticeable. This is an excellent product for the price. Not sturdy enough to use as a fish tank, IMHO. Packaging was adequate but foam on edges might help, not a package expert. I didn't need it to be thick, you might.

I love this clear plastic display box! I made my young son a "No Fuss Fishtank". It is great & the perfect size! I highly recommend this box & it is the cheapest price I've found for this size of transparent box. The only thing is it has distorted view in one side of the box but on the other side it is very clear, you just have to turn it around where it's clear.

This box is just as described: a fairly sturdy clear plastic display box. Some of the product photos make it look slightly wider at the top, but I was delighted to find this isn't so. All sides are straight. Good thing, because I'm using it "portrait" orientation, with a short end as the base & the lid as one of the side walls. Well packed & arrived scratch-free.

I purchased another cheaper box and I had to return it. This one was the same price when I factored in free shipping. I had over looked that. I bought two of these to protect and display some jade horses I bought from China a long time ago. I have two cats and they were constantly walking around them and potentially knocking them over. These boxes will protect them - I am very happy!

This box is the perfect size for the items I wanted to display. I looked at other boxes and this one is the right size and reasonably priced. I’ve used it to safely hold my dad’s WWII flight helmet and Air Corps hat. The box is sturdy and I think it will last a long time if treated properly.
