Hazelnuts (Filberts) In Shell, Raw - We Got Nuts (4LBS.)

I tried quite a few and these ones were the best. Nuts from Turkey were the worst -- old/stale, and every 4th nut (no kidding!) was either empty or bad. Oregon nuts were so much better. Fresh, large, tasty. No bad ones. Very consistent. The batch I received had no empty nuts -- at all. Other manufacturers had few percent of empty ones. No bad nuts from any Oregon distributor. Oregon hazelnuts are the best!

I actually purchased these for my disabled squirrel. He loves them, and they are the first thing he goes after when I give him several choices of food.

These premium large hazelnut/filberts in shell unsalted, sold by We Got Nuts, are the best tasting and freshest you can buy on line. Thy are a little bit more expensive than some, but the cost is justified by your satisfaction of these sweet buttery yummy nuts. The are extra large, easy to crack and contain very few culls and empty shells. I eat them as healthy snacks while on the computer. I have been a satisfied customer for several years. I think the 5 pound bags in heavy reclosable plastic bag ensures freshness upon receipt and it lasts to the last nut is consumed. This is an honest review of my admiration for We Got Nuts Hazelnuts and their superior flavor and taste. Enjoy.

The nuts arrived fast and in a nice package. They are big and healthy. But not so fresh as expected. The expiration date is in 2022 but they are already a bit soft and not so tasty. Once you put them in the oven and toast them a bit, they are excellent. The kids are going crazy over them! I guess the best time to by filberts is not in August, but in late fall and try to get the latest harvest. Otherwise, plan on roasting them a bit. Which is not a bad thing, but I also like the taste of really fresh hazelnuts, and this was not it.

Best filberts ever. I had previously bought a different brand but they were 2/3 the size and not sweet at all. This brand had larger filberts and were sweeter. I will keep buying this brand.
