I was actually gonna write a bad review and say that these people are telling false statements. Reason why is because I thought it wasnt gonna fit my andis masters 01557. But they did and couldn't manage to get them on till i had to be gonna rough on them and make sure they go on lol. But that goes to show how good there gonna stay on and not break while using them. I had a problem with my Walmart wahls clippers breaking and wouldn't stay on my clipper so this is a plus. Only thing I dislike bout the clipper and I know has nothing to do with the guards is that it gets hot.. but that besides the point of the review I would recommend these guards to any andis owners.

I ordered these hoping that they would fit my new Andis 63100 BGRv clippers with the included #1 blade, but they do not fit, no matter how much pressure I apply. Unlike other reviews I've read, there are no metal clips, they are all plastic. The product desc. here on Amazon does not include which models they work with, but the package says models ML, GC, MBA. It is Andis SKU No. 395380. For those clippers, these might be great, but for my clipper, they don't work. Based on the model numbers, I'm not surprised, but just disappointed that the description was incomplete and I might have wasted some money. I've not tried contacting the seller yet, but based on other comments, it might be futile. Incidentally, the sizes of these combs are #0 (1/16 inch), #1, #2, #3, #4, #6, #8 (1 inch).

IMPORTANT! Only for NON detachable blades!!! I got these to fit over my #10 or #30 blades without reading into it. They only fit nondetachable blades. Otherwise seem like great quality for a great price! Just wish I could use them...

The guards themselves are sturdy and easy to clip on. However, I am having difficulty finding guards to fit my Andis 2 speed clipper. (Though I used the search engine on Amazon with specific clipper details, this set popped up) The description mentioned fitting Andis 2 speed. However, I tried them today and the blade rubs on the comb making a terrible grinding sound. Since I am in the market for another Andis clipper I will double check with Andis specs first to be CERTAIN they fit. Kinda upset as this is the second set I bought in the last month. Have to hand scissor my doodles and poodles.

Over the years, my husband has been using the Wahl hair clippers. Over time, they do not cut that well and then they die. This time, I decided to try the Andis product. Although the clipper does not, for some reason, come with the combs, it is an excellent buy. The complete system, though costing a bit more, works much, much better than the Wahl clippers. The Andis combs are extremely well made and have a metal system to ensure their longevity. I appreciate that. Go with the Andis.

Doesn't fit my Andis MBG2 model so I had to return it. Still, they look robust but I can't tell any more than that. The important part is for you to know they don't fit this model.
