The shape and the feel of the mouse is excellent and it is shaped so it can be used left handed (though this will make some side buttons hard to reach as it has 3 on the left of the mouse and only one on the right). The Lighting is bright and though not dimable can be turned off or the colour changed through Red, Pale Blue, Blue, Green and Pink. This can be done for the scroll wheel, light pipes and logo independantly i found the pipes and wheel too bright so just have the logo on blue with the others turned off. Features: The mouse has 9 buttons all programable with macros the software for seting them up is simple and to the point just what is needed and i was able to test it within minutes of installing the software. The mouse onboard memory stores 5 profiles which are apparently plug and play no matter what computer you plug it into though i've not tested that yet. Its a shame the profile change button is on the bottom of the mouse but then your probably not going to change on the fly that much if at all. On the fly DPI adjustment is in 4 stages though you can adjust the sensitivity for each stage in the software. The mouse comes with 5 removable 4.5g weights to set your preference, i have left all 5 in being used to a heavy wireless mouse and it feels very light by comparison though not uncomfortably so. Additional: Recieved a nice carry pouch in the box, maybe not needed by all but a nice touch from Thermaltake. Conclusion: I tried to keep my own opinions out of the details of the mouse and it was hard believe me. This mouse is excellent and does what it says with no hassles or concerns. There are more expensive gaming mice out there with grand claims and i know a huge following from people who use them, until they break. I'm hopeful that thermaltake has put the quality inside this product that it displays on the outside so that it doesn't become another gaming mouse with forums full of complaints about failures and problems. Overall i am a happy customer and just a wee bit impressed by the product, just waiting on the challenger ultimate to come into stock with desertcart to go with it. Hope this brief overview has been helpful to some. Review: Great Mouse, Horrible Build Quality. - Stay away from this mouse unless you feel like making return/replace claims every few months. I bought this mouse in September 2014 having tried it at a friend's lan party. I chose it over Razer Deathadder and Steelseries Rival. Here is my reasoning when comparing these: Pros: Black Element is Lightweight, not too high, not too wide, has all the buttons you ever really need on a mouse, removable weights, fancy LEDs. Its performance has been stellar. The competitors are either heavier, with no removable weights, larger (which is annoying if you don't have big hands), or flat out too complex with their software package. Cons (why you should not buy this mouse): Since September 2014 I have replaced this mouse 2 times. The middle mouse button/wheel will not scroll properly. desertcart immediately replaced the mouse for me. Replacement mouse arrives 24 March 2015. On 25 April 2015, the LEDs on the mouse stop working. desertcart once more replaces the mouse with a new one. January 16 2016, middle mouse wheel does not scroll properly (same as one year ago. It is super annoying, trust me.). Unfortunately for me, six months after the initial purchase (September 2014) desertcart no longer replaces your items. So now, I'm stuck requesting an RMA from tt-esports which should be covered under warranty. This will be the third time I send them back a faulty mouse. Overall, it is a great mouse, but the quality of the manufacturer is lackluster. I suggest you skip this brand when it comes to peripherals. They are good at other components. Sadly for me, I am so accustomed to this mouse, I cannot see myself using a different model unless tt-esports decides to anger me even more with bad customer service. Heed my advice, this mouse breaks easily and is not a good long term purchase. Go for something a bit more reputable even if it costs a bit more.

Great Mouse, Horrible Build Quality.

None Better
Amazing mouse, I bought it December 2012. It is now 29th October 2016. Still kicking as if it was day one. I've dropped it a few times, my cats pulled at it and it's still on my desk. Couldn't have asked for any better, built to last this thing. Hasn't once let me down. Recommended. I had the Logitech G500(?) before this one, threw that out because the RMB spring had broken, had that one for about a year, this one's been with me for 4 Years. It has a lot of cursor speeds so it can suit your style, has 4 different modes you can change on the fly. 6 or so different colours so you can pick the one you want. Hands down the best mouse I've used and thanks to this haven't had to use many. Happy customer =)

Far From Robust...
This mouse i was so excited when i bought it, after 2 hours of use though i found the left and right click buttons started randomly clicking twice when clicking once which is very irritating when playing a game and accidentally hit something this mouse is comfortable and cool how you can change the color to suit your preference however, the build of this mouse is a long way from being robust. Terrible build quality i do not recommend to any hardcore gamer.

Great product but spill vulnerable.
Spilt ale over this in the first week, broke straight away whereas my Razer copperhead survived MANY spills over time. However if you're an idiot like me you'll buy another cause you thought the mouse was that good. I prefer how the pointer behaves to my copperhead, a lot more 'sturdy'. The mouse might not be great for small hands. reviews for this mouse can be found all over the net. However, It's tuesday afternoon and they still haven't dispatched my second order after me ordering at the weekend. Seems lazy as the first time round they were very prompt. Thermaltake is a reputable company delving in the gaming market with peripherals, they've turned me from a 'Razer Fanboy' to a 'TT eSports Fanboy' overnight. From TT eSports, I own the Shock headset, the challenger pro keyboard and am awaiting my second black elemtnt. Top notch. Just wish it was a bit spill resistant, people might call me careless but I think it's slightly careless to make peripherals for gamers that are susceptible to small spills. Would give it 5-stars but had to knock one down for longevity of the product.

Perfect
Exactly what i was after. I recently bought the TT Esports challenger pro keyboard and this matches it well. the 5 different led colours are good and the macros you can set. would recommend to anyone looking for a good gaming mouse.

Ottimo!
