Nexigo VS Hori VS Binbok VS Satisfye VS Nyxi VS Grip case VS 8bitdo VS Pro Controller
So I've legit tried 7 different variations of controllers and these by far have been the best so far. Regretting how much of a headache I been through and how much money I wasted by not trying these sooner. The Hori Split pad was too bulky and lacked features I cared about. The Binbok was cheaply made and had buttons break, replacements sent to me by the company and those also break. Eventually the Binbok wouldn't be able to snap into my console anymore. The Satisfye grips I had issues with how 'squishy' it felt. I also didn't feel like it felt good to still be using these joycons. Nyxi Wizard was bulky, clunky, and sorta bent on the rails of my switch. It was way too heavy too that I never really enjoyed using them unless I used them as a pro controller alternative but even then I had to get another device to charge it. A standard grip case with the joycons worked alright for traveling but still was difficult to hold and I'd still cramp up when using. I would avoid playing with my switch undocked if I had to use to grip case. The 8bitdo was really reliant on firmware and it bricked trying to update it that I had to return it. Finally I got these Nexigo and, oh my gosh, legit feel like oh most everything is perfect. Only issue I had was the thumbsticks don't pop off and I kinda wanted the option to adjust them. But honestly the default ones on them still feel so good that i think i can easily just overlook that. It feels really sturdy too and doesn't have that squishy effect or that bending that can happen when using joycon alternatives that rely on the rails. It's also extremely responsive and feels amazing to grip in the hand. Havnt had a cramp yet and out of all the controllers, other then the switch pro controller, the haptic feedback and gyro aiming feels sooooo good. These seriously are never coming off when the controller is undocked. This paired with a pro controller when it's docked. is really all you need for your switch. Seriously I've tried so many products and I've finally found the perfect one. Again totally banging my head against a wall for not getting these sooner. All the features just work so smoothly. I like the seperate light button, the single turbo button, the unobtrusive extra back buttons, the feel of them just feel super quality. Ugh. Totally love these.

Super comfortable and does what I need.
I only play switch in portable mode and this was a really good device. Admittedly I had the Gen 3 device and broke it after a spill and thought this was a newer device but I actually like the ergonomics better than the newer one. It’s also a bit lighter since it doesn’t have the built in dock. Make sure to have wired pro controller set up in settings to use this. The Hall effect joy sticks are a huge improvement over the switch joycons especially if you like FPS games. The RGB is nice but can be too bright in the dark and it’s ALWAYS on when charging unless you turn it off completely. Great product overall, but might recommend the Gen 3 if you also want your grip to work as a dock, kickstand, and game holder

Great upgrade to Joy-Cons!
I recently purchased the Nexigo Gripcon (Gen 2) for my Nintendo Switch and it has completely changed my gaming experience. The Gripcon's ergonomic design fits perfectly in my hand and allows me to play for hours without experiencing any fatigue. Not only is the Gripcon comfortable to hold, it also provides a secure and stable grip on my Switch. This is especially useful when playing games that require quick reflexes or precise movements. I no longer have to worry about my Switch slipping out of my hand during intense gameplay sessions. In addition to its excellent grip, the Nexigo Gripcon (Gen 2) is also very durable and well-made. It is easy to attach and remove from my Switch, and the materials used in its construction are top-quality. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the Nexigo Gripcon (Gen 2) and would highly recommend it to any Nintendo Switch owner looking to improve their gaming experience. It is an excellent accessory that has greatly enhanced my enjoyment of my Switch.

Fatal flaw for regular Switch, but it’s a keeper! Please read!
I am one to search out why something doesn’t work. This is an awesome device, but it IS going back. Why? This was very obviously designed for the Switch OLED, you guys have it made. I received the unit. Beautiful design, awesome ergonomics. It’s just awesome. Light weight, perfect to hold. I thought I finally found the perfect Switch controller. After trying the Skull & Co. unit, it has damaged the back of my Switch, the whole point was to get away from the stock controllers, it has been a fail of epic proportions. I bought the Nitro Deck. It was returned because of the ghastly haptics. And not so ergonomic design. I Play one game, that is ACNH. I probably won’t be buying more games. On a real tight fixed income budget. I play in hand held mode only. ACNH has very little use for the right Joy stick or either of the Z buttons, or the top buttons, for that matter , so I find myself with hand pain trying to hold my fingers away from the top buttons for hours. Someone needs to design a finger rest right between the two top buttons. Perfect solution, and do not know why this is not a thing. Now the flaw and it is HUGE. Not two minutes into playing, and It quit working. I reset, it works for another minute, no response from the A button what so ever. Repeat ten times. Start searching for the issue. The issue is plain and simple this was not designed for the regular swatch, the problem lies with the rails designed to make it fit. They try, but they are just a tiny bit loose, enough to cause a disconnect. I soon discovered that if I push the Switch back into the unit, Wow it works! When it works it’s awesome. You can’t see that is moved, you just have to keep pushing it down on the left side. For those of you leaving bad feed back because the buttons don’t work, I can bet you have the regular Switch. If I could figure out how the keep my switch in this unit tight enough to not disconnect, I would keep it and give it five stars! Beautiful unit. I won’t leave bad feedback for such a nice product because it didn’t work for me. I will, however point out where I feel an issue lies. The only other issue is the bottom charge port, very nice port, very poor location. The bottom location causes a lot of unnecessary bumping into things while holding. The Nitro Deck got this right, and why, in spite of things I do not like about the Nitro Deck, it will be what I use. I am VERY reluctantly returning this. It’s so nice! I have now re-ordered the Nitro Deck, it’s winging its way to me now. It’s my only solution for now financially speaking, I have no choice. I would seriously prefer this unit any day over the Nitro Deck, but I can’t keep pushing this thing back down nearly every minute or so, if not more. I thought about cinching it tight with a tight rubber band to hold it in place. But why ruin the beautiful lines?

Love the galaxy print!
Works great, looks great, LOVE IT! Easy to put on fits perfectly feels nice and sturdy in your hands I have the switch oled the one thing I’d say is I’m not a fan of the thumb grips they feel a little rough but that’s easily fixed with a cover

Not good for travel or use away from charging
This is a great Idea and it looks pretty but not quite as awesome as I had hoped. We got it to make playing handheld mode easier on my hands which it did do that at least. Pros -It looks pretty and does make playing in handheld mode more comfortable. Cons: -It feels very light and not in a good way the buttons/joysticks were very loose. -To pair it you have to switch modes on your Switch. Which was not too big a deal except for later when we got home it would not connect to any other controller even after switching modes back. I had to forget all controllers and then re-pair them. -The LED "light up" feature is kind of lame honestly, if that is a key point for you on a controller totally pass on this. -Lining up the bottom "charge/connecter" port can be a bit tricky -When in these the tablet has a bit too much play for my liking, I feel it should "click/lock" in a bit more. With something plugged into the charge port and that wobbly it will eventually break your charge port. -THEY EAT your switch battery. They do not charge on their own! They run off your Switch/tablet battery. We got these for a recent trip so longevity was kind of a must. I can usually go at least 8 hours handheld depending on the game. With these I got just over an hour. So if you plan on using only these, don't care for light up much, wont be ruff with them and somewhere you can charge your Switch then this might be an ok choice.

GOOD QUALITY, ELIMINATES DRIFT ISSUES, COMPATIBLE WITH OLD MODEL SWITCH
Really great quality, super easy to set up on the switch and compatibility for the buttons is great just like the originals and possibly better as the joy sticks move more smoothly and most importantly ELIMINATES DRIFTING which is a known issue for the original remotes would definitely buy again

Dead on arrival and overall junk
This Hall effect gripcon is awful. Must’ve come dead on arrival because even following all steps and doing everything possible for an entire day, it won’t connect to my switch. On top of that, the joy con on the right sticks sometimes and I hate the left keypad. Way way way too hard to click the buttons. This thing might sound great in theory but it’s absolutely a piece of junk. Avoid at all costs. Can’t review more features because it doesn’t even work.

Perfect ultimate controller.
Why go with Hori? This controller is so much better in every conceivable way. I needed to order a second one for my son. Google searching controllers I found two valid options. A Hore controller or a NexiGo controller. But Hori has no Hall effect sensors and no vibration motors and they are priced the same. So I went with NexiGo and it's perfect. Buy this. Take it from me. I have owned a switch since day 1.
