I think it will easily wipe clean should it become dirty from traveling. My only complaint or suggestion would be for Vera Bradley to make the inside of their bags lighter in color, some are but I had a difficult time finding a backpack I liked with a light color interior. It's difficult to find things inside a dark bag. Review: So cute! - I normally wouldn’t spend so much on a school backpack but I’m glad I did. My daughter is in high school and she loves it. She said she’ll use it for the rest of high school and change out charms if she wants a different look. She likes that it has plenty of pockets for mid day primping and her hundreds of folders. She also has room for her color guard practice clothes for after school. You pay for the name but I would recommend it. They won’t need you forever.
