I was frozen today!
I ride street bikes. When temps. are around 40 degrees, and the need for speed arises, I don't want to be dressed like the kid in the movie "Christmas Story "while riding my bike. (The kid in the movie had like twenty layers of clothes on and could not even move his arms or walk.) I have not found any base layer that one layer alone on my skin keeps me warm enough. I put two of these thermals on and sometimes it is still a little cool but these are a life saver. They seem to be decent quality, and they fit my body pretty snug yet nor overly tight. I learned the hard way one cold morning and wearing these thermals helped me big time to stay warm and comfy.

Great, but beware of fabric wearing!
Right out of the bag, these looked and felt great quality! I felt happy with the money spent. My significant other really likes them. They fit true to size, and they keep him plenty warm under his thin polyester/ cotton blend work uniforms. My only negative that I can say about them is that he came home from wearing them under his uniform day ONE and the fabric was pilling like crazy (see photo). So they already look old and worn after just a few wears and washes. That may not be a concern for everyone. They still do their job, it's just something that bothers me personally! Looks aside, so far these are a good product.
