Ponyo explores environmental themes similar to other movies from the Studio ("Nausicaa" and "Princess Mononoke") but from the perspective of a child, giving it an innocence that sets it apart. No exception to other movies, the English dub attracts a litany of recognizable voice talent, including Liam Neeson, Matt Damon, Cate Blanchett and Tina Fey among others. Honestly, the movie deserves a watch both subtitled and dubbed. Suitable for most kids, there are some "scary moments" such as a flood, but generally parents can feel confident that they can enjoy this movie with children 5+

Beautiful story line and Outstanding colors! Great story from Studio Ghibli!
This is a story that will teach us many things. It is so cute and adorable and it shows how love has no bounds and the responsibility that comes from it. The colors and illustrations in this are remarkably beautiful and surreal. So full of life and also teaches you that everyone has a part in life to play. It is magical and a wonderful story from Studio Ghibli. I had watched this earlier in my life and wasn't able to connect to it that way I am now. It is funny how things speak to you differently when you're ready. Inspirational for adults and fun for kids. This would be great family night!

Great movie
My grandchildren absolutely love this movie. They asked me to buy it for them, so I looked it up. I watched it and then I bought it. It is a really cute movie. The picture and the sound is good.

Awesome anime
This is one of my most favorite anime movies where the artist (one man) drew every single picture means a lot to watch it and great for little kids would recommend anyone looking for a great anime to watch or great for adults too.

東日本大震災以来、地上放送が自粛されてしまったりしていますが、5歳の娘のバースデープレゼントに買いました。 本人ポニョになりきって、毎日ハムを食べています（笑）

Ponyo is a Must-See
This has to be one of my favourite movies. It’s so beautiful and fun! Good for kids and adults. I rarely buy movies anymore, but had to get this gem. Love it.
