I asked myself "how hard could it be?" and bought one to do myself because I always feel like I want to try longer at the optometrist but feel like I'm annoying the doc. Definitely not a replacement for yearly visits since they do more than this. Some of the metal tabs attached to the lenses are slightly bent so it can be awkward fitting them in the frame(hence 4 stars). No issues with the lenses though. Yes the free frame is junk; Lenses fall out if you tilt your head ever so slightly. I would spend more on a proper frame but i feel I've wasted enough money as it is. I don't really need the suitcase, which I'm sure inflated the price.

The frame does not hold on the lenses , i had to buy another glasses to retain properly the lenses. Standard to low quality product on the frames.

The Lens Set is okay, though very limited, but the included Trial Frame was more like a toy than a real frame. Lenses easily fell out of it. I did purchase a much better adjustable Trial Frame which was part of one version of this kit and it was a very good frame. However, it had been opened at some point before being shipped. So, it was apparently a used item, and I wonder if the Lens Set itself was also used.

Lenses are great, frame is garbage. The frame is cheap and the one I have does not hold the lenses. Slightest shift of the head and the lenses fall out.

Lenses seem great. Eyeglass frame/ lens holder seems like it's made for a child. It's for a small face and head and not adjustable at all. Only children and adults with closely spaced eyes will be happy with it.

Es handelt sich um ein funktionelles Set in ausreichend guter Qualität um im privaten Bereich mal eben die Refraktion zu bestimmen bzw. zu überprüfen. Die beilliegende Testbrille ist sehr einfach gemacht aber ausreichend. Ggf. noch eine gleiche Testbrille in passender Größe besorgen dann hat man für einen guten Preis ein sehr schönes Set. Die Firma Aist Optics ist auf jeden Fall einen Versuch wert!

After using it for awhile I can only gove it 4 out of 5 stars because the plastic frames lets it down. They sell the metal frames separately and I’ll for sure buy them. Other than that, the set was well packaged and I highly recommend them. A good purchase which will come in handy for years to come.

The lenses are comprehensive, well organised and laid out nicely in the box. The frame works, but it feels flimsy and the lens-holding clips are weak and fiddly. It's good that UK high-street opticians can check your eye health, but I have been disappointed with the "free" lens prescriptions they give me. I find that high street prescriptions often seem to be wrong, perhaps because their tests are designed to be done quickly instead of thoroughly. I can do what I want with the Aisitesy 104 Trial Lens Set, and I have confidence that the generated prescription will work in the real world.
