So far they seem perfect!
Using these to ground my ham radio feedlines at entry point to home. Very solid and gives you the option of using the provided grounding crimp/screw or bulkhead mount through 3/4" hole. Do they work? They are definitely well grounded but I don't want to tempt Mother Nature.

LOOKS GOOD, FITS WELL. WILL IT WORK?
I have this protecting two attic ham radio antennas. Some say it isn't necessary, but doing it just in case. I have a large grounding wire going to the house ground which is a cold water pipe in the garage near the water heater. Do you think a lightning strike would unsolder all the copper joints in the house? Hope not. Anyway, I don't know if it'll work when needed or perform as planned. Keeping my fingers crossed. Lost a star because of the unknown, and it's more my fault then theirs.

They are attached…
I hope I never have to update this review… They are attached to my antennas (I bought 1 each for my two antennas). I hope they never get needed, but glad they are there for peace of mind.

It appears to be of good quality, have not installed yet.
Have not installed yet, but seems to be of good quality.

It does the job
Every CB, Marine, GMRS, or HAM radio antenna needs a lightning arrestor connected to your ground rod - period. I have a few of this brand. As I add more radios and more bands, to the roof or backyard all those coax feed into your home and could start a fire in your building if you don't block and divert the lightning strike to a ground rod. While you may still fry the radio these greatly reduce the damage. I did replace the crimp-on-ground wire connector to take a larger gauge wire but that is just me creating a bigger path to ground. I have several antenna grounds that are linked to a repurposed (separate) copper pipe that snakes to the ground rod. I also air gap the radios from the coax during storms.

Looks great
Of course it's hard to prove whether or not the gas tube in this is a quality one or how well it will protect my equipment without having an actual lightning strike, so I can't say much about it that way, but it definitely appears to be well-constructed and feels like a hefty quality part. Comes with protective caps.
