Cable works as advertised. 10Gbps translates to about 1G of characters per second (or 1 GB, or 1,000MB, big B). But throw in overhead, data validation, etc and my best result was 440MB/sec for a 150GB jumbo file copied to a freshly formatted external drive connected to a USB 3.2 port. That is very fast. However, if you are backing up thousands of individual files or the drive has a lot of fragmentation, then you will not get close to 440MB. In this case, you may see it transferring data at 300MB/sec and suddenly only 20-30MB/sec. If you plug the cable into a USB2.0 port (the white ones) you may only get 30-40MB/sec max. So the cable is as advertised but other variables can make it seem slow.

This USB cable is of good quality and it is well made. Tested the connectivity and it works great, very pleased with the product.

I bought a car which still requires Android Auto to have a wired connection. The cable has to reach from the front of the car, near the floor, back to the center console, then still have enough length for me to hold it and plug it in. The previous cable was creating lots of annoying connection errors. This is a nice cable, I really like the simple grey and black braided cable. It feels super sturdy. I have since had zero problems with my Android Auto connections. I strongly recommend this cable for it's quality and value proposition.

My Android auto finally works with this cable. I never knew that you needed a data cable instead of the charging cable for this kind of stuff and it works flawlessly and never disconnects. I love it!

I bought this because the cord I had for Android Auto kept dropping the connection mid-drive (pretty dangerous and frustrating when trying to use Maps while driving and having to try to unplug and reconnect while on the road - I kept pulling over to be safe). I ordered this after I learned that I needed a data transfer cable, not just a charging cable. It worked great at first. However, these past 2 weeks (after about 5 weeks of use every day), it is CONSTANTLY disconnecting and takes FOREVER to reconnect when I try to unplug and reconnect. It's too late to return it, so I have to buy a different one. It also charged very slowly, but I was willing to put up with that when it worked with Android Auto.

Great quality, well made and very sturdy. The one minor con, which is as a result of all the stated pro's, is that the cable is quite stiff. I would still recommend though!

Es gibt USB Kabel, die man anschließt und sofort vergisst. Und dann gibt es solche, die man anschließt und plötzlich merkt, dass sie einfach funktionieren. Dieses Fasgear USB C Kabel gehört zu letzterer Sorte. Ich nutze es in meinem Dual Streaming Setup, um den sekundären USB Anschluss meines Rode Rodecaster Pro II mit meinem Gaming PC zu verbinden. Angeschlossen ist das Ganze an einem USB A Port meines MSI Carbon X870E Wifi Mainboards, genauer gesagt an einem Anschluss, der direkt über die CPU Lane läuft. Schon beim Auspacken merkt man, dass dieses Kabel nicht einfach nur irgendein billiger Plastikstrang ist. Es ist ordentlich geflochten, liegt gut in der Hand und hat diese angenehme Kombination aus Stabilität und Flexibilität. Man spürt sofort, dass hier nichts billig verarbeitet ist. Das Kabel sitzt fest in den Buchsen, ohne zu wackeln, und lässt sich gleichzeitig problemlos ein- und ausstecken. Ich war besonders darauf gespannt, ob die Verbindung stabil bleibt, da mein Audio Setup empfindlich auf kurze Unterbrechungen reagiert. Und was soll ich sagen, es läuft wie ein Uhrwerk. Kein einziger Verbindungsabbruch, keine Aussetzer, kein Datenverlust. Das Kabel liefert konstant saubere Performance, auch über längere Sessions hinweg. Ich hatte schon teurere Kabel, die das nicht geschafft haben. Die Übertragungsrate ist tadellos. Mit zehn Gigabit pro Sekunde hat man genug Reserven für wirklich alles, was man anschließen will. Ob Audio Interface, SSD oder Smartphone, alles läuft schnell und zuverlässig. Selbst bei gleichzeitiger Nutzung mehrerer Geräte über verschiedene Ports bleibt die Verbindung stabil. Das ist genau die Art von Qualität, die man in einem komplexen Setup einfach braucht. Auch optisch macht das Kabel was her. Das schwarz-graue Geflecht wirkt edel, und man muss sich keine Sorgen machen, dass es nach ein paar Wochen ausgefranst aussieht. Ich habe es mehrfach umgesteckt, verschoben, verdreht und sogar leicht unter Spannung verlegt, es sieht immer noch aus wie neu. Kurz gesagt, dieses Kabel ist ein Paradebeispiel dafür, wie man es richtig macht. Kein übertriebenes Marketing, keine leeren Versprechen, einfach solide Technik, die abliefert. Es ist das unsichtbare Bindeglied zwischen zwei wichtigen Geräten, und genau das macht es so wertvoll. Mein Fazit: Wenn alle USB Kabel so wären, würden viele Probleme im digitalen Alltag gar nicht erst entstehen. Ich bin rundum zufrieden, und mein Rodecaster Pro II ist es auch. Das Kabel bleibt, wo es ist, und bekommt einen festen Platz in meinem Setup.
