Sharing from North Brisbane. I bought these on the 29th July, it's now the 8th August. This is how many of the little turds this trap caught. As you can see it's amazingly effective. Between these traps and me with my electric zapper thing it's helping the problem for sure. Annoyingly though, as there was never this many in the house at one time which indicates they're coming in from outside rather than breeding in the house, which presents a problem that the traps can't fix unfortunately. I sprayed strong weedkiller all around the outside of the house and down the drains yesterday which actually seems to have made quite a difference, so that might be a tip for anyone else with the same problem.

By far the best thing I’ve bought. I put 2 in the kitchen, 1 in the dining room, 1 in the washroom and 1 in my bedroom and I haven’t seen a fly since. They’re all floating inside this bottle and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you!!

Second time I've tried this product and am very happy. It does what it says on the tin (or bottle in this case): it attracts fruit flies and drowns them. I can understand why it doesn't work for some people: fruit flies lay up to 500 eggs at a time. So if you've still got fruit (or something else that the fruit flies eat) around, then killing some of them is not going to fix your problem. However, if you're diligent about removing all possible sources of fruit fly food then having enough of these traps around will get rid of all fruit flies within a week. I was worried after my second purchase that they wouldn't work because the colour of the liquid inside the bottles had changed. However, if anything, they are now even more effective: the one in the kitchen drowned two dozen in less than 24 hours!
