A few of my friends were Marines, and I bought this knife in remembrance of them. I din’t buy this knife to take with me everywhere, and show the whole world. I didn’t buy this knife for everyday carry, hunting, or camping. Although I possibly could use this knife for hunting, and camping. I realize this knife was designed for combat, to be used by highly trained Marines. I bought this knife to help me always remember my good friends, who were Marines in my life. Friends who would humbly be there for me to protect me from the storms of life. Friends who would set aside their super human abilities, and graciously accept me, mentor me, help me so much. And like the Marines; these knives are of high quality workmanship. My Marine friends who taught me it doesn’t take more time to do a job right. It takes way too much time to do a job wrong. And no one has the time to do the job right this first time, they only have time to do the job wrong endless times over. For a great knife of high quality made right the first time, buy this knife.

I needed a long knife with a leather sheath for a costume and this fit the bill and was genuinely affordable. The presentation and craftsmanship (mostly) are very nice, although the knife is wanting for sharpness, even after passing it through a ceramic sharpener it's still duller than my Moralniv that I've been using for bushcraft. Though, this isn't a knife you'd take hunting or hiking with so I suppose we'll enough it doesn't need to be sharp. Price and appearance alone I'd have given this 5 stars, but the handle is round! I didn't notice in the stock pictures but handling it is unnatural and moreover uncomfortable! You could probably use the guard to index the blade, but—with the exception of steak knives—I've never come across a knife with a round handle before! It's almost disgusting. The balance is a bit off drooping toward the blade, and I haven't unfastened the build to see if it's a full tang. I can't imagine for any practical use for this knife, but it does make a nice display, and at one third the cost of the actual knife you can't complain too much.

Knife just as described & delivered fast. This is a quality item and would make a great gift, especially for a newly minted Marine. I HIGHLY recommend!

I got this for my retired marine dad and he liked it alot. It can be used for opening up packages as well. Larger than the average letter opener and is really nice.
