Great lightweight boots! They are very comfortable and great price too!!

These were a replacement pair for some much-loved but beyond-trashed 10 yr old boots. I took a chance and ordered 'em, glad I did. Lightweight, rugged, they fit great, and sizing is accurate. My "sole" problem with them is the right-boot zipper tab broke off, under normal wear, after 9 months. There's no small hole or opening to rig up a DIY tab-pull, so I've have to lace that boot up every day, instead of using the very convenient zipper. Other than that, these have been solid and are a pleasure to get around in, daily.

The zipper not that strong.

These boots are the most comfortable boots that I have ever owned. Right out of the box they felt super comfortable to wear. Zero break in time needed. The last pair last to me almost 4 years until the rubber on the soles finally wore out.

What a shame to put such a cheap zipper on a well made comfortable boot. No more cheap boots for me. Just can't beat a good quality Bates Boot.

Update 7/16/2025 - These boots came on sale right after the Prime sales and I went and purchased another pair of them (now on #3 pair, each last almost 1 full year with daily wear). These are my most comfortable pair of shoes bar ahead of tennis shoes, dress shoes, sandals. I hate having to lace up taller hiking/work boots and the side zipper makes this an easy slip on/off effort each morning when walking our dog at the beach. Been wearing daily for the past month in sand, rocks, dirt, ice plants, you name it. Higher sides over the ankles help somewhat with stability and keeping sand/fox tails off of my socks. Very comfortable and light (light weight materials might impact durability but would be a worthwhile tradeoff given how comfortable they are). Have worn these for several hours/4-6 miles at a time without any issues. Haven't encountered any issues with side zipper as noted in other reviews. If I can get 6-8 months of daily use I will definitely purchase another pair.

I absolutely love the boots, didn't even have to break them in and they are as quality as anything you can get at footlocker

Boot quality: They were cheap so I wasn't expecting much. But the zippers literally broke on the first wear. I've tried wearing them after attempting to fix the zipper and the zipper always splits again and ends up being pointless, may as well wear thick flip flops dirt and sand gets in them.
