Extemely pleased with the Tenrai Cat Playpen, Trapezoidal Design. I needed the playpen urgently and it arrived overnight. It was seamless to set set up and our cat immediately took to it. I am very pleased with how roomy it is - it allows room for the cat to move around and she loves to nap in it (which is a great review in itself). It's well made, sturdy in design and easy to use zip closures. We've had it for several months now and have had no issues with it. It will be a great product to travel with our cat. I will note that if you plan to travel with it, you will need to take the cat out prior to picking the playpen up to move it because the floor is not a solid surface.

This is great ! So well made and engineered. Our kitty feels so safe ! We keep it in the living room so that she can get used to it before we try it in the car. We are hoping it will make a good traveling tent for her. Its is super easy to put up and twist and fold back down for storage. I had to watch the Tenrai video a few times to understand how to do that, it's very much like a pop up tent. Absolutely perfectly constructed. The zips, the stitching is just perfect. We are all very happy with it !

This is a great product! My 12 lb. cat used it for 2 months post-surgery. Great size, great zippers, easy to move around, super easy to unpack and set up (vacuum packed in a tiny package, unfolds almost by itself), nice and tidy appearance, great in every way. My cat doesn't need it anymore, but she is used to it as her safe space. Temporarily replaced cat litter area with a soft towel and she loves it. That smaller side, attaches with a zipper to the larger side. You can thus use them separately, but then neither "room" will be totally enclosed. I'll probably keep the smaller (cozy) "room" for to serve as an open-air house for her.

We used this for our kitten as she recovered from her spay. While she is VERY active and playful, this was the perfect little place for her to recover safely, as it gave her things to look at and prevented any play that would be damaging to her incision while giving her enough room to stand and walk around a little. I was thinking she might scratch through the mesh, and was worried at this price point ($50 as of writing) that she may do that - but no! We ended up using this product for about a week and a half during her recovery, and it’s in the same condition we received it in. Definitely keeping this product. Others have stated collapsing the product is difficult - the video in the listing made this process clearer and I was able to get it put away in a few minutes. We also really loved that there’s a separate section for a litter box. Great price, great product. Would recommend!

I travelled cross country with my two cats inside this housing. It was the only one I could find that had a separate, attached, compartment for the litter box. It worked really well as there was plenty of room for both cats and a spill-proof water bowl. One of my cats tried to escape one day but was not able to either bite or claw her way out. These are all the positives. However, the doors are all located in the wrong place. The ONLY way you can fit this in an average sized auto is to fold down the seats and place the litter compartment on the seat back and the larger condo facing the rear. That leaves the openings entirely on the wrong side. The opening on the large condo should be facing the rear towards the trunk door, not sideways, which is difficult to reach if you have other items loaded in the car. And the opening for the litter compartment should be facing the left by the car door, with an additional one on the right in case a passenger in the rear wants to open it from the inside. For me to unload the litter box I had to crawl over others items in the car to get to the opening or unzip the attached condo to get to the litter box from the door side. With those simple changes this would be a ten-star product. I hope they are reading these reviews.

I used this to complete the puppy pad training for my Chihuahua. This method was suggsted by the breeder. His sleeping space was in the small side and his pads were in the bigger side. It was the perfect size for a chihuahua puppy. It was really easy to clean when there was an accident, and it folded and travled nicely. This was a much cheaper option than the double sided crates designed for pad training.

I have 4 beautiful little ladies (7wks old)that I'm fostering for Animal Control. I was loaned a good size cage to use but they were right on top of their dishes and potty pan. I'm so glad I ordered this. It gives them play room and I love the fact that their pan is separate. It's well made with sturdy zippers. The opening top makes it simple to get them when I have to apply their eye meds. The pan section is designed well for changing out/cleaning out their potty pan. There is a zippered envelope on the side for storing needed items. It was well worth what I paid for it. Please excuse my room as I set it up quickly for the night so they could be more comfortable. I am very impressed with this. Makes mine and their lives so much easier.

It was great to keep a new kitten separate from resident cats - super easy to set up, roomy enough for food bowls and bed to be in a different area from litter box, easy to keep clean, you name it. Then, it came time to break it down for storage. There are absolutely no instructions, so you have to google a video and hope someone put one up. The zippers that attach the top were next to impossible to remove, and by the time we were able to get the thing collapsed enough to start folding it, a support wire snapped, making it useless, so it went into the trash. Frustrating, because it cost $50, and we'd hoped to be able to keep it in case one of our cats needed to be kept separate from the others in the future. Lesson learned, I suppose - if the manufacturer would have included decent directions, this thing would have been perfect!

My cat broke a bone in her paw and needed a splint with cast (and a cone). I thought I'd try and let her roam freely around my condo since she was already miserable enough. But she wouldn't stop jumping onto high surfaces, and I was worried she was going to further hurt herself. I bought this playpen over others because it has the separate attachment for the litter box. It's worked great so far. My cat has calmed down a lot and will actually rest now. The playpen was easy to set up (it literally unfolded itself) and the zippers are conveniently placed for giving her new food, water, and litter. I'm confident I can fold it up for storage once I no longer need it anymore.

My cat broke his leg and needs to avoid jumping while his leg heals. It’s been 3 months already and this ‘cubby house/tent’ has been his new home and he loooves it! It’s very durable and easy to clean and move around. We ended up buying 1 more and my other cat and dog both love it too! Both my cats are able to sleep in 1 cubby house at night with the kitty litter box inside. It’s absolutely purrfect!
